Good morning Jan and Sashie! Glad you're on the mend Sashie!

I divided up all the left overs and sent them to the neighbor, Sister's house and Mom's work. Dishes are done. Feet are propped up, pooches are all snoozing, it's raining and my REOs are hitting just right.

Life is good.

Hope all getting better. Heading out with DH shopping (no black Friday for us), banks, Home Depot, Costco, Grocery, Walgreens for DH Flu Shot, UPS, PO....... Tomorrow we're going to movie "Lincoln" at theater close to us. We are both so enjoying his having four days off in a row!!! We've both gained about 5 lbs from pigging out all day and into the night last night. My belly went from one "baby" to twins in a matter or hours. (I've recently come down from carrying a littler.) My fast twirl around Costco, while DH is getting his new glasses should help a little.

Picking up REOmizers and new Waterpic today at UPS. Those are the two I'm most excited about. Six months old portable Waterpic battery died (non replaceable). Haven't had one for a week now and sorely needed with braces.

Cowboys didn't disappoint DH yesterday as he expects them to beat themselves.

Hoping Mrs. Dan is staying as pain free as possible. Hoping Kay is having better times.

Stay safe and find and give some happy.

Love you all, Feisty Alice

Hi all...I'm back. Quickly found out that trying to make deliveries was pointless today. About a 1/3 of my stops were closed in the first city I hit. So I gave up after that one, hit a few specific places, then came home. No point in wasting the gas doing these routes twice. We've decided to just take a long weekend and call it good. I should be happy, but I hate working from behind. Oh well, gonna put my jammies back on until I need to head out to the surprise birthday party for my FIL.

Hiya, Scott. :)
I was just watching news reports of the black friday mess around the country. I'm thankfull that none of that crap happens here, but geez louise...why on earth would anyone want to put themselves in that mess? I wonder is it an adrenaline high that most folks are going for? I mean...is it really worth it? So much violence....it's just amazing....and every walk of life is represented in these crowds. It's not black or white, young or old, rich or poor...it appears to be an even mix.
I'm trying to put myself in the situation, where my daughter only wants one thing at Christmas and the only time I'll be able to get it black friday. I wouldn't even try. I'd keep my eyes out for it later in the year...and find something else she wants. Besides, most children will make a wish list 4 pages long if you let them. There is always plenty to chose from, IMO.
