You flatlanders are some strange, strange people. I'm amazed that civilization continues to thrive... well, at least propagate. :D

Jack

High mountain dwellers sure seem to have a "thing" about their elevated existence. I have lived in a few different states in my years, but never a location that would be considered "up there!" Least favorite state was Florida. Felt like it was all beach front property without the beach!

Oh, I forgot... Good Morning Reonuts.

Tried calling Vapage about my fraudulent invoice, no one answers the phone. Sent an e-mail from their 'contact us' website, no response yet. Trying to get in touch with them before they ship out the ordered supplies. I can only do so much I guess.

Hi Jack :)

Don't forget to call your credit card company :)

We are very possessive about our little pieces of the planet. I think it has something to do with the amount of physical work it actually takes to live up here, hence the two seasons... winter, and preparing for winter.

It's fun though, kinda nice to realize that if you don't do it it's not going to get done and if it gets done wrong you've got no one to blame but yourself.

Of course it's also very enjoyable rescuing flatlanders from what they perceive to be certain death as when I had to save Pietro from an Abert's Squirrel. He thought it was a werewolf that was about to attack him but in actuality it was just one of our jet black, cat faced squirrel;s with pointy, triangular shaped ears. He screamed and ran like a little girl. Sissy flatlander.

Jen, you would only elevate my "good name"! Kay, HI! I have been a stealthy ninja, nothing wrong, I just get into moods where I can't think of a thing to say. I am doing fine, just waiting for January when I'll have my first post op/treatment mammogram. Since they did 3 surgeries, and weren't able to get all the cancer, I am waiting to see if the radiation got what was left. I think/hope it did. I feel great, energy level is higher than it's been in quite a while. I've decided that if it is clear, I'm going to buy myself a nice big box of Godiva Chocolates. And I may do that even if it isn't. I'll keep on keeping an eye on everyone, and will try to do better at not being so quiet.

Hi Jack :)

Don't forget to call your credit card company :)

Just got off the phone with Vapage, they were very, very nice and helpful right from the get go. Turns out that the customer gave the same last name as mine and their computer pulled up my account. Customer gave an entirely different credit card number and told Vapage that they wanted the order shipped to a different address than what was listed. They also gave a different first name.

This may be a case of a simple computer error that can be straightened out but the good thing is my credit card wasn't used.

Again, kudos to Vapage, they are working to figure out exactly what happened and to get it fixed. At this point I would have no problem with doing business with Vapage again... they seem to have done nothing wrong.

Got a great couple of DVD's for my day's off! MIB3 and Expendables2! I don't have cable, don't rent DVD's locally. Only get them through Netflix. So my waiting time after release is longer. If I want to see something before Netflix gets it I do Amazon PPV through my Roku and watch it on my tv.

Busy weekend, Dr. apt on Friday then stopping to see Kim and give her some vaping stuff. Just might go to the huge Jungle Jim's International Market here and pick up some different veggies from what most stores carry. I get stuck in there for a long time looking at all the different ethnic foods. It is quite an experience. Only 10 minutes away!

Hi Jen! You deserve those Chocolates no matter what sweetie! Keeping my hopes high for you! Don't let worrying get you down, push it away, it does no good! ((((hugs))))

It has been featured on one of the cable shows! It is funny, I saw and went to, the place when it was just a nice sized farmer's market. That was back in the early 70's. We have shopped there many years, watching it grow. My kids all remember our trips to Jungle Jims! There are tour buses that bring people. They walk around with a guide. It is very busy and crowded on the weekends. But they have samples galore! This time of year is the worst for getting in and out quick. I hope tomorrow early morning is not too bad. I will have to grab a Starbucks when I pass them. It makes the trip more fun!

The restrooms are fun. Two port-a-johns sitting there with the restroom sign. You open the door and walk through into the foyer of the "real" restroom! Chairs and a small couch, very nice! People pose for pics outside the doors just for the giggles! All my visitors have to make the trip to Jungle Jim's!

Oops, getting late already, busy afternoon ahead. Have to drop the tuxedo off to have dry cleaned for the big New Year's Eve bash. (Hope I don't break my back again like last year... I'm planning on wearing boots that actually fit this time.)

Have a two hour business meeting after that then off to spend the rest of the night dancing with beautiful women. (As usual I'll have to avoid the numerous women who keep trying to touch me with a ten foot pole. It starts to sting after a while.)

Everyone have a good afternoon and evening.
