Morning, REOnauts!

Today's fact! The rights to "The Christmas Song" (aka "Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire"), and several other classics are owned by Paul McCartney.

uAdC, have you tried cleaning it? Take the battery, bottle, and atty off and dunk the whole thing in hot water. Rob said at one point that a lot of the repairs he has to do are accomplished by just cleaning it up.
Good morning Dave! I hope your day is as great as you can imagine!

Morning Scott! Have a terrific day!

First try cleaning it as Dave said, if that is not it, it could be that your firing pin is broken. Rob has those and can send you one, just pay attention when you take the old one off, as to how to put the new one on. Hope you get it fixed soon!
let me start by wishing everyone a happy Christmas Eve!

now....

I NEED HELP! PRRRRONTO!!!

I have been analog-free for the past three months thanks to my Reo Mini.... however, as of the past few days, I am scared to use it. The button gets stuck in the firing position and continuously fires the cartomizer even when I'm done pressing it. I have to take the battery out manually and immediately. My biggest fear is that I will end up back on analogs. I cannot afford to buy another Mini and I really need help in finding out what to do here. I'm not sure how it happened, a few drops but nothing major, mostly on carpet. The top portion on the inside (where the screw is located) looked loose, so i tightened it, but to no avail. It seems as thought the button is moving independently for the most part, and the trigger mechanism that touches the battery is not moving as much as it should.

SOMEONE HELP ME. WHAT DO I DO!? WHAT IS THE FASTEST WAY TO FIX/REPLACE MY MINI!?

please like this comment if you have a helpful reply, so i know to check this thread. thanks!

Mornin REOville! Happy Christmas eve! For once we will get to take off at 1 this afternoon. Usually, since we are "customer facing employees" we don't get off early the day before a holiday even tho the behind the scenes people do, but we got an e-mail Friday saying they had enough volunteers to cover us so we get off early, it's a Christmas miracle! Here's hoping all of you get your own Christmas miracle this year!!!!!

You may have a broken firing pin but I would definitely clean it real good. The rebuild kits are less than $20 and SUPER easy to do yourself PM redeyedancer and he'll get you all squared away

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve Reoville :D

hope your xmas is great Karen :)

Leaving for work around 8:40. My usual work week plus some extra today. Not doing too much myself except work. Will make tomorrow as special as I can for the one guy that will be there. Two days in house, no running out. Shouldn't be too bad!

real good here thanks do you get off work today and tomorrow

Since I'm my own boss now I can take every day off if I want but that doesn't pay the bills I took off yesterday and I'm going to the shop today to finish a car I've been working on besides the DW is off today so the house is not the place to be:laugh: Lets just say she gets a little up tight right before a bunch of people/relatives come over:unsure:

pretty good buddy are you getting everything you want ?
Since I don't really want anything, I'm set! The missus and I had an arrangement - no gifts for each other to finance our trip up north in January - but I can't help but notice there's a box under the tree with my name on it. So, I get to spend today trying to find something last-minute for her. If you listen real carefully, you can actually hear me rolling my eyes from all the way in Arizona.

What's up with that? My wife's the same way. We spend a year not caring how our place looks and then all of a sudden everything has to be clean for company.
