I woke up and lo and behold I find something I might be able to contribute to. My little baby, the Koa, was leaking and for the life of me I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Always had juice all over the place. When I vaped I looked like Louie Armstrong playing the trumpet... had to have a handkerchief in my hand.

I was squonking, (I love that word), with the door off one day and noticed that juice was coming out of the feed tube just below the brass nipple. (I love that word too.) There was a vertical split in the tube that was almost invisible unless you actually looked at it while the juice was squirting out.

Probably not your problem but at least I tried to help.

My antibiotics don't seem to be helping, I'm gonna see if scotch works better... alcohol kills germs.

Do reo grand's have issues with 510 to 510 connectors? Reason I ask is I plan on using a HH357 with drip shield. The drip shield requires the connector. I just read that these can cause shorts somehow. Is this true?
as long as the posative connection does not protrude too much your good. i used a drip sheild like that for a long time until i started using RBAs

Nice. I always tighten them down with the shield already on so it never will get over tightened. That's a relief. Thanks.

Hello REOkin, I need a bit of positive energy from you lot.

I have been without my REOs since 12th november - they went to a make over in Maine and got lost in the German customs and DHL on their way back: You can follow the drama here: DHL Track and Trace

After weeks of yelling at and pleading with people I was told the parcel was "lost", then "destroyed", then "partly destroyed and we'll send you what's left of it".
Now the tracking shows movement and I think I might get it tomorrow. I fear that it will be in bad shape, but I hope at least some mods are still there.

In the parcel is a Wood 18490, a VVW, a mini 14500, a VVG and two REOmizers.
Wish me luck.

Chris

Just doing a quick catch up while taking a short break from work...and I'm damn near speechless. My friend, you may have all the positive energy I can muster, but that's hard to do considering how irate I would be if I were in your shoes. I have no doubt that I would have been escorted from some office somewhere at the very least, and at the worst, taking a cold vacation for wrecking someone's office (otherwise known as vandalism, and generally being a danger to self and others.) I'm crossing all my crossables that your package arrives and the only thing that is damaged is the box itself. (((Chris)))

My doctors don't even shake their heads in dismay anymore, they know that when I hurt myself more than I can tolerate I wash down my morphine or dilauded with a splash of scotch. It help take the edge off the pain and lets me get a little sleep.

I never overdo it and I'm smart enough to use the cheap stuff, Dewars... not the good Macallan.

Never tried it with strong antibiotics though, might really do a job on my tummy. Already having enough problems with that.

Jack

Well aren't you and hubby two peas in a pod!!

And good night all...............CULz
