Like you, Alice, I'm not happy with how slow it comes off - but I do take comfort in the fact that I'm not putting it on any more. I may not be losing as quick as I'd like, but I'm not gaining at a great pace.

Hang in there!

I was last weighed at the docs office before surgery. I was fully clothed, but that is the weight I entered a while ago. All this talk got me back on the scale today and from that weight to now is down 7 pounds. How much of that was clothes I can't say, but I am in pajamas instead of jeans so...

Either way, I am down a few pounds. This is the least I have weighed on MY scale in a long time! I am happy with that, considering exercise is out of the question for me. I do my leg raises on the couch, but I am lucky to walk around the house a little bit. I sure do hope it isn't from the atrophy and muscle loss in my leg though, since it was like that before, and hope its from my belly

Oh for sure!!!!! Last week I tried on a pair of DH's size 38 L jeans and I was swimming in them. Last time I tried them on, months ago, they were snug around waist (actually below waist and top of hip bones) and just below but pretty billowing on down. My 40 front clasps cotton sports bras are all of a sudden jumping up over my boobs if I move wrong and my tummy "litter" is now only barely showing as a single first trimester.

DH HATES fat!!!!!!!! When my "litter" reduced significantly' a couple months ago he couldn't keep his hand off me.

I think a lot of people do better, when on restricted eating, with a few shocks to system, every once in a while, as long as it isn't medically harmful.

Also moderation rather drastic restriction is better for the psychy.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

I think just being aware of what you are eating helps a lot. I make different decisions when I am keeping the diary. I actually have to think about what I am eating, knowing it is all going to calculate out at the end of the day. Fiber and calcium are also concerns, so I really have to work them in and seeing them in the diary helps a lot.

Breakfast can be a killer, I had ham and eggs, toast, OJ and milk and almost HALF the days calories were gone. Well, that and the wine. But it was Sunday, and DH went out on the bike for a breakfast ride so I indulged myself. If I had gone with him, it would have been all day's calories on breakfast no doubt!

If you can water therapy is most excellent. One of my US top 10 conformation champions, obedience, and Shutzhund English Mastiffs tore a cruciate right before he was going on road to be campaigned. He was first non experimental cruciate surgery, on a dog, at Texas A&M. (He also did personal protection for conroversial speakers when they were speaking at small functions..... think Gabby Giffords and that situation in AZ.... with a very alert 200 lb dog scanning the crowd in front of podium.) He was trained to spot weapons and neutralize. So he was not only a valuable show dog but valuable working dog..... very grueling and demanding work and showing. We did tracking and rescue for fun only.

So we had just moved into this house with a pool. After six weeks I started hin on swimming therapy, like race horses. Within 6 months he was back to full working and showing capacity.... 200 lb dog. It did help that he was in top shape before surgery.

Just saying.

Question - and I don't know how much is 'hush hush' in the answer, but I need a bit of direction...

I have the funds/ability to get a Reo mini 2.1.
I have a Reomizer to use on top already.

BUT!

1) I already have TWO VVGs. Do I really NEED a Reo mini? i.e. is the form factor that much smaller?
2) Whats up with the rumors and whispers I'm hearing about another Reo form?
Do I need to wait until the most recent version Reo has come out to make sure I'm not jumping the gun that this unknown new one will be even MORE awesome?
3) Rob is out of the colors scheme I'd want in my Reo mini 2.1. Can I request it or do I just need to wait possibly weeks until he finsishes another one?

Oh decisions decisions!!!

Thanks for any input you guys may have!!

Unfortunately my handler doesn't have a pool, and works full time so can't drive me to the YMCA

I have a membership at the Y and did water arthritis and water aerobics classes before the pain and swelling made even that impossible. It was the only thing my docs would let me do. I had been doing treadmill, since PT had me doing it, but when I told the doc they said I should not be doing any weight bearing exercises at all. They didn't send me for PT either this time (yet?), which surprised me. I just do the leg lifts on my couch since it doesn't involve stress on the knee. My knee is a hot mess if I do anything. In fact, I had to ice it after leaving the house on Saturday, and had heat on it just this morning. The pain made sleep impossible and I don't want to take pain pills all the time :(

I am hoping to be able to drive in the next month or so, then maybe I can try to get from the parking lot to the scooter in the store. That will be a big day. Non-costco food! The right brand/type of milk!

Hi lettucehead! Of course you don't NEEED another Reo:laugh:...except as a backup for the backup...from the pics on Rob's site they're not that much smaller than the grands, and, my opinion only, the latest hush-hush I think is about a virtually indestructable rba, and I would suggest just calling Rob about the color choices you want, his no.'s on his site.
Oh, and this "teaser" probably won't happen for months, from what I can gather.

I'm expecting a Mini2.1 in the mail as I type....and I already have 4 vv's..this one will be my traveling buddy...:D

Gotta go stalk the mailman....

Don't have time to go into detail. I'm only on computer to transfer Sat night photos to computer in case they didn't all make it via direct Photobucket. (some videos, too) and then clear card for farm pics.

Anyway, I adore my Mini 1.0 REOs, all of them, metal and wood!!!!!!!!! And I think they are drastically smaller than a Grand especially with so much less battery weight. I adore my Mini 2.0s, too but they do have the added factor of much heavier battery than ver 1.0 plus the added body depth.

I'll put in my 2 cents worth. Even though Rob has several reos to choose from all are worthy of use from the old to the new so I would not worry about buying and then him releasing a "latest and greatest". I don't think any reo becomes obsolete. I am sitting here vaping my first reo mini. I think he made a product that just works and outlasts all the new fads. I would like to collect 1 of each including the classic beautiful grand (may be too big for my little hands). Click the sign up for email notifications as I did and very very soon popped up exactly what I wanted.

To my knowledge Robert is NOT working on a RBA. He stopped selling the Reomizer on site. He did say:
No my friend I am not getting into the atty designing game . I predict in six months maybe sooner from now the Chinese will have it all covered . I cant see it you put all the time and effort in and 2 months or less later they take it and sell it for a couple bucks . I will take there atomizers and make them work for my mods . Anyone thinking there going to build expensive atomizers is in for a rude awakening imo http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/344638-affordable-rba-turn-key-safe-our-mods-4.html#post7610406

Also he said this:

lol I am working on a new mod let me just say you will like it . There wont be any pictures or details until its just about ready to ship . With all the cloning going on I have to be this way .
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/344638-affordable-rba-turn-key-safe-our-mods-post8709054.html#post8709054

Metal heads sorry my friend I am going for indestructible . Wood mods could be built in the same fashion though

As promised this is the Grand Fade! Newest version Grand from Rob, Anodized by Anodizers Are-i, Hornet, and Super T-Shorty Aluminum drip tip (out of production). Fades from light green, blue, to black. Using MNKE IMR-18650, .5 Ribbon wire 4 wraps .9ohms, ceramic braided wick, 3.7V at 13watts.
