carol was a BIG TIME shopper....she has absolutely no interest this time to go into ANY shops....i had to walk away because i wanted her to go into this jewelry store and she looked at me and said "they don't sell what i need"
i have a cross that she loves....and i was thinking of giving it to her or buying her one that looks like it....what do ya think?? i would like her to have mine...just my feelings

I think I can understand where she is coming from with her statement. She probably does not want money spent on her right now. Not for things.

I think you should buy one like yours. When you are on the plane going home give her yours. Show her you have one you bought for you. Just like friends buy little things that are alike. Each keeps one and it reminds them of the other. Just my opinion.

That is a tough one Ray. On one hand I want to tell you to respect what she says, she doesn't want you to spend money on something she considers useless to her. On the other hand, I understand that you want her to have your cross. Have you tried to just give her your cross and not buying a new one right away to replace it? You can buy one next week to replace it and don't have to have one immediately that may upset her thinking you spent money on it.

good afternoon EVERYONE.....had a great day with carol today....she's NOT game for skydiving....hmmm....she says she has enuf trouble climbing off her bed....went to the beach....had lunch out...plenty of margaritas(for me)....i did give carol a sip....making her take a nap for a couple of hours and then out to dinner if she's up to it..
NUTZ my friend...here in ny the sellers disclosure is at the sellers discretion if they wanna fill it out or not....but as a buyer i guess you can demand they fill it out or your not gonna make an offer....if they have something to hide they will prolly tell you to go find another house....
when i sold my last house i chose to refund the buyers the $500 just in case there was something that might have come up that i wasn't aware of...i think you are liable for 7 years for whatever you state on that stupid disclosure..
sweetiepie...wanna go skydiving with me?? bet you wud be game...only problem is the two of us together would NEVER pass the course you need to take...think WE would be asked to leave!!!...then if by some miracle we got past that...we wud fight on who straddles who!!

:laugh:you're beginning to know me too well!If you go skydiving with me, cappysan, you could have the choice of the straddlin'! And I really CAN behave...when absolutely necessary!Won't care for it..but I can do it...:)

carol will NOT go on a cruise...she said the doctors on a ship suck...and she's afraid of getting sick and being trapped there....can't argue with that i guess...

She may have also heard about some cruise ships and all the issues they've been having lately!Take her out to dinner a lot and shopping a lot and then chillin out on the beach..she'll be a happy camper!

Yikes Rays gone :(

Talked to realtor 3x already today, starting to get miffed again. I hope she doesn't bother me at least fer the next 2 hrs.

Kay, I like your idea for Ray to give Carol his cross. I think it would be so much more meaningful....thats my take anyway.
What I like even better would be like a bible with notes from loved ones and dear friends on the inside for her to keep. Maybe even pietro's pic......now that be a happy surprise for her
