Why in the world would anyone need to do that?

Sounds like itty bitty work to me and my eyes couldn't take it!

You have to use both resistance and non-resistance wire when rebuilding Killer 705 rba's. There are no posts with itty bitty holes to thread a wire through, (although there are 2 in the ceramic cup), so twisting wire together is usually no bid deal... RA just makes it a bit painful and troublesome. The hemostats should make it much easier, if not I'll use the silver crimping beads.

MIGHTY FINE slops. I like it a lot better than Guinness for cooking, has flavor yet no bitterness. I also use it to braise beef, this is the first time I used it for pork. :D
I've never had anything cooked with brown ale in it, or as it sounds over here broon ayle, but the local drinkers, would think you were mad, committing sacralige, to them it would be a bit like using a reo, as a door stop, honestly people would be calling you all sorts, for even talking about it

Would it help if I told you that it was half a flat beer that I was using with Guiness to make Black Castle's (or whatever you call them)? I know, leftover beer is probably just as bad, but at least it wasn't as if I had to open a fresh one

ETA: You really should try it sometime. Makes the meat good! I don't want to use what passes for beer here in the US, cooking with Coors or Budweiser just wouldn't be right.

Across here, you wouldn't get any leftover beer, I don't drink the stuff now, used to when I was young & daft, but for some reason, anyone that got drunk on it, tended to get aggressive, but all the pubs used to have pot men, that collected all the dead & empty glasses, & part of they're "reward", was they could drink all the leftovers, & they always had people queuing up to do the job

Word of caution to everyone. Just found out someone stole my credit card info and has been using it. I have ordered a lot of vaping equiptment lately. Juices, atty's, carto's etc. Only vaping stuff on line from many vendors. Don't know which company is to blame but had to call my Credit Union and have them cancel my credit card. Problem is that is was used to open an acct at Match.com. Seriously!
They are issuing a refund but now I have to tell my Hubby! Funny but he may not think so! Been married way to long and certainly was not me opening that acct. Have not even been on a website like that! But all my recent purchases have only been for vaping stuff so be careful everyone. Sure is a hassle straightening all of this out! I have never in my long life had this happen. So be careful. Sure wish I lived in a larger town where I could go into a brick and mortar and buy what I need and did not need to depend on internet purchases.

Cheri...first, I'm so sorry this happened! We've been hearing about this situation for a few weeks now! I just went to my bank a couple of days ago and closed my old account and had them destroy my credit card, then opened a new account and got a "loadable" card with only a few hundred on it. It might be a PITA to go to the bank to put money on it, but not nearly so bad as having the card used illegally and all the ensuing hassle!

Unfortunately, my pot man (DH) was already passed out (he goes to sleep early and wakes up early). So I just put in the refrigerator for the next time I needed some for my cooking pot. I can totally agree with not wasting it!

So sorry it happened to you. :( About a year ago I got hit by Match.com also...bank cleared it up and issued a new card. Still it was a pain and not my favorite phone conversation having to convince somebody that I had not signed up for a dating service. Let your husband know that match.com seems to be a regular culprit. I hope it gets cleared up quickly for you!

Now THAT could cause some real problems above and beyond just the hassle of clearing up an unauthorized purchase!

If, & it's one hell of a big if, any got put in the fridge, it would be used as a hair of the dog that bit you, the next morning, there's still people here now, that have a bottle in the morning after a night on it, does tend to make you go on a s**t yourself thin diet though

I am perfectly able to make my own twisted non-resistance/resistance wire coils and I am very handy and deleterious, and fairly young. But I have been doing the twisted wire thing with my Penelope from GG and just let me tell you....it sucks. I just found out today that the Killer also involves this insidious torture to vapers everywhere. I am not impressed.

Good day Fine REO Folk. Hope everyone is high and dry and not swallowed up by sinkholes. The line that came through around 0500 that is reaching up all the way to Canada but causing much more havoc north of us dumped 1.5" in less than an hour. Electricity blinked a bunch of times but didn't go totally off. The winds were not unusually high for here so it was force of rain. So glad to have newest (couple years ago) whole house surge protector at main panel with lights external so I can see the condition. Last one was inside panel and no indicator lights. A lightning strike took out the main 220v water heater and whole control board on 220v Spa. Easier to protect 120v things using point of use protectors. Not as easy for 220v.

Puppy Chow.... my older sister lived in Seoul and then Hong Kong for many years. She had fairly large dogs; Airedales then Kerry Blues. Company paid for high priced housing, chauffeur, and live in maids. One day maid saw a local running away from house with one of the dogs. She chased him down, gave him a good beating, then hailed a cab. Cabbie refused to carry the dog. She pulled him out of cab and slammed him against it threatening his life. Dog and maid got free ride back. My sister loved that woman. My sister had a meeting with a high official as it was getting "epidemic" in the safer European gated neighborhoods. (The kids were safer there than in states traveling and playing large areas.) He informed her that her dogs were not in danger of being eaten rather local "mofia" ring stealing special breeds and selling them for high profits. He warned her to not "mess" with them and only thing she could do was up her security. Authorities had no interest in getting involved.

Stay safe, heal. Hold loved ones close in heart and mind.
