Good morning folks

Well blew off a big dive job today in order to spend some time with the family not really normal for me but with the DH and I putting in stupid hrs as of late I kind of thought it was needed. Gave the customer a few people /shops to call funny part is I'm the one that usually gets referred by these shops for this sort of thing. I have worked for these people for 10 years and charge them no where near what the job is worth they got a bit of a rude awakening and there was a serious attitude change when they ended up calling me back and were willing to work with my schedule. Don't think I will be hearing anymore whining about the bill either :D

No big plans just off to Costco and out for lunch but it's the time together that counts just don't tell her I said that :p

Mornin REOville! I have smoke detectors in my house again! Only took a little while to get it done, so fed the ex a nice Pepsi Pork Roast with potatoes, corn, gravy and yeast rolls. All in all a nice evening and I have enough roast left for a couple nights this week. I've been wanting some roast for a while so it was a good time to fix it. Rainy here this morning, but it should end this afternoon and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 74degrees, sounds like a great day to get some flowers for the pot on my front porch, I think the danger of freezing is over for the season. Hope all have a great Saturday!

5 phone calls and various texts from work = In i go to sort the mess out they made of the last hour yesterday after i'd gone home. I told them i am no longer on call - but it makes no difference!!

Then took HRH shopping - the usual weekly ritual. I am used to crap drivers here but it takes a rare talent to cause me to sound the horn on the car, but some fool today got some as he pulled out in front on me in a feeder lane and STOPPED! Stopped dead. My car was almost on it's nose i had to brake so hard.
Well we each gave the other the finger and a mouthful of abuse, so honours even.

Decided i'd better not take my blood pressure just now. Spent 20 mins memorising the route i am to use next week. All in all a pretty good morning for me, so now i plan on doing lots of nothing for the rest of the day.

Sounds like you got your blood going. I almost never use my horn, even though I am regularly given ample reason to blast away. I know many people don't always look before hitting the gas...but there are those few who do it on purpose and feel perfectly entitled to do so. That's when I rage in my seat...and cause a scene. I am by no means the safest driver around....but I don't give an inch to those just being rude. Conversely, I live by the "do unto others" philosophy. I let people in front of me who are waiting patiently to turn on a busy street....and I give freeway on ramps a wide berth. Ya...I never said I wasn't a conflicted individual. I hope you enjoy your day of nothing. :)

I once taught my step-daughter to drive; i was taught by the police and the usual thing is to do a running commentary on what you are looking at and hazards you may face when people act unexpectedly. So for her benefit - i used to do this. I think she learned to swear more from me than anyone else!

 Ya, my daughter is 14 and she's learning a ton from riding with me....I just hope she picks up more on the lessons of the road and less of my potty mouth.

I read your day celebrations, in the hope that the one I want to celebrate, is there, but it never has been.
So all I can say is keep them coming, so that I never miss, "doing sweet F A day" I would hate to miss that one, if it ever happened
