monket suit is off and now i'm comfortable. still have to get ready for over 100 guests tomorrow for Brendans 1st communion party.

all the boys helped out today, they didn't like my militant approach at all the yardwork today but its done and I gave them all a hug of thanks.(pretty funny when I hug my 225lb muscle head who thinks i'm a cornball lol) the little ones appreciate it and it helps them get over all my yelling at them. sigh.......

Back to like winter here, we've had our 2 days of summer

Last year we had a week of warm weather, about 20c, that's it, always chilly & wet here, but we don't know any different, it's single figure temperature today

At one time I would have agreed with you, but now at my age, I want to retire some where warm, & sit by a pool, if I did that over here, I'd get frostbite, even in summer.
The only way you can tell when it's summer here, is the rain doesn't turn to ice when it falls

After a while us locals learn to "follow the shade", I've seen tourist who fall asleep at the beach and get burned so bad .
