I don't know...I hope so, but given its size, I would understand if they didn't. I haven't tried unlocking it myself because I don't want to confuse the system....so I'm just going to hang with this until it get's sorted out. Once they have it under control, I'll take care of the threads in our own area. I've been really careful about keeping all our other threads in check...max 1000 posts.
I really don't understand why some people are upset about the orig thread being locked. You can still go back and view it but who's going to do that. We can barely keep up with current posts. I don't understand.
I haven't see the forum this fast in months. I'd like to see it stay that way.
This guest person is getting on me nerves....LOL. Ahhhh..really, Maybe now i can keep up !

Oh no! They just closed the Reo Roll Call thread. I think I might have spelled that wrong.
I'm adaptable...I'm not really worried about it for the most part. It seems a lot of images are missing though....and honestly, they are part of the story, ya know? I'm not opposed to the closing of the mega thread....I'm happy to work with a new one. I'm just hoping we didn't lose all the images that go with the story.I really don't understand why some people are upset about the orig thread being locked. After posting a few test posts though...it appears that any thread over 500 posts gets closed with the "next" post and a duplicate thread opens. I'm guessing that this is programming that they were testing, but it accidentally went live....with no warning. There are also reports of other threads that have completely disappeared. So who knows. Like I said. I'm just going to wait it out. Once this has been fixed, I'll go back through and fix the threads that are not in conflict with current forum thread size rules.
Ya...wild glitch on the loose! Yeah, that would be terrible if all the pics are gone. I haven't look through the old lounge yet. I'm sure they have a backup of the forum and can put it back the way it was if it is too screwed up to fix.

I would...but the old man went to bed about an hour ago. But I'll be sure to pass on the message in the morning. They closed the pre vet thread also. I had to go back to the orig to see if my hunks were still there. THEY ARE!!!!

Ya...that's what I thought. No biggy....I think it's a good idea to enforce the max thread limit to a degree. That's why I keep breaking up the fast moving threads.
Don't we all think its time to loose the (was... The REO Grand Opening Sale) part of the thread title by now ??
