Thanks so much for the advice. And yeah I am absolutely aware that the Kick and REO do not get along.
I decided to go with the 510 Voltage Indicator meter Rev2 - Avid Vaper
They look the same, but this one said it can read the under-load when an atty is connected. Hopefully it will work with the REO and if it does not work with the KICK aswell I will buy the tank-o-meter too.
I will post the results in case in one else in wondering.

Thanks again
Aruga
Great :) I look forward to your findings.
And no offense was intended about the compatibility thing. I have been asked numerous times and just figured I should keep saying it just in case someone reading this got the wrong idea and tried to put the two together.

Here is how I kicked my grand so that I didn't have to modify the finish.

I found the sheet brass at the hobby shop. If you look at the last shot there is a little flap at the top to ensure a solid ground and hold the kick in place.

The kick works AWESOMEEE in the reo grand. its ma every day vape. dont leave home without it! as far as using a voltage meter on it, dont really see the need seeing as its preset on the my preferred heat/vape. And never has to be changed! I only meter my batteries to make sure nothing funky's going on with em.

reo grand + kick = funk-o-matic

tho i will be tempted to get a vv grand for the very likely better battery life. and a different button. not a big fan of the top locking button, i always end up locking it by mistake

Hi everyone! Anyone miss me? LOL...

I have been very busy packing boxes. All kinds of stuff have been hiding and I am finding it! Really makes it look like more than I can have in my new place! But that is what happens when all the cabinets and drawers are emptied and put into boxes!

Tomorrow making a trip to unload with my daughter and son-in-law. Monday I will take more and unload it before I go to work. Next weekend, Saturday is big stuff moving day. I will be on my own in my little Grandma house.

I watched a scary movie last night. Thought how different it will be when I am the only one in the house. Just having the pitter patter of the kids feet upstairs and the occasional sound of them talking brings me a certain comfort and safety. I have lived alone before. But these last 9 years with them near has me spoiled.

Gotta stop. Getting a bit teary here. A huge change......hope I am ready...........oh, I am taking all of you with me!

Living with other people is nice, K, but living alone has so many benefits as well. Stuff is always exactly where you left it. You don't have to put clothes on to nip off to the kitchen for a slug of milk STRAIGHT OUT OF THE CARTON. The TV isn't on MTV every time you turn it on. You can shoot your guns into the ceiling after a night of hard drinking!

Thanks for this tidbit Erik I just got a Mini (bumble bee) and a 18490 metal (Red w/Blk door) and plan to kick the 18490 and don't feel right about damaging the finish so I'll most likely give this a try:)

I have my own rooms here, kitchen, living room/bedroom/computer room, and full bath. I am in what use to be a duplex. The only change is they have one of the downstairs rooms too. We have our own entrances, and areas. I do drink out of my milk jug! It is just that they are only a door or two away now. Instead of about 1 hour drive. I won't have to keep the tv off after 9 though. They can hear it from their downstairs bedroom. I will like some things about being in a house myself. Having the temperature what i want will be nice.

karen, i believe you have no choice but to take everyone of us with you, lol, cuz we won't be left behind!

Believe me, you'll settle in, look around and say to yourself," this is pretty sweet!" And then call your daughter and grandkids,

cry a little, pick yourself up and move on and make that house

YOUR home SWEET home!!

Speaking of the Chalice how you liking yours Dave

I can understand that but $100:ohmy:

If that's what the market will bear, than that's what it's worth. I just look at it as they're making my own stuff more valuable. Not that that matters, since I have no intention of selling any of it.

I like the Chalice quite a bit. Still learning how to use it to its full capacity though, I rebuild it once a day, and every day it gets a little better. When I have it nailed, I'll get an ERA and both of my REOs will be REObuildable!
