Lisa, are the corners more rounded on the VVG? I would love to get one but I'm afraid it will bother my hands like my mini did.

Yes they are....but the biggest plus for those with tender hands is the button on the side. So it's a lot more like holding a tube mod, but you're not having to scrunch up your hand around it...it's hard to explain. I'm thinking that in some cases, holding on to something bigger is easier on the hands....like the OXO kitchen gadgets. OXO - Tools you hold on to - Cooking & Baking

I talked to my Daughter this morning and they are doing fine. No power of course but they're running a generator with a Prius. She said they did hear gunshots last night. The police stopped by "looking for the shooter", the National Guard came by twice, 8 of them. She said they'd just stand there with very quizzical expressions looking at the kids watching DVDs on the TV, the cell phones and e-cigs charging, food cooking and the lights on because they couldn't hear a generator running and the Prius wasn't making any noise running.

 There's ingenuity for ya! Go daughter!

It's still rectangular in shape...so if the shape itself bothers you, you may not like it. But you're talking to a person who doesn't have tender hands yet....I don't know if the shape would be a factor or not. I know the button placement is perfect though. Hopefully someone else who has one can chime in. :)

Wayne says it's better than holding the Woodvils because it's smaller, but still fills up the hands.

If you think about it, that could be a good thing.

I'm thinking more along the lines of it not being a good thing if it were a Katrina type situation. In that case I'd want to keep my generator usage limited to daylight and shut it off at night to blend in with the rest of the folks.

I agree....and I bet that is why the police and the NG are probably coming around. *shudders* I'm glad we don't live in an area prone to massive storms. :)

My hands aren't all that big either. And I do have to stretch my fingers to touch when using the woodvil so I usually don't but there is only about 1/8 to 1/4 inch between them.

Edit: Ask Wayne if the vvgrand button is like the BP button?

"Very similar in click, but I would say that the VV Grand button is a little bit bigger around and seems to click a little bit easier." says Wayne.

He just handed me a BP to try. The recessed button area on the grand allows you a more spread out pressure area as opposed to focusing on the little button itself. I'm not sure how to explain it.

Any time Sashwa :)

Lisa had to run to town. I understand your issues and think the VVG will work just fine. Button is way easy and with Rob rounding the back fits nice in the hand. Even with Lisa having small hands its a good fit.

Lisa, you and Wayne have always been so good answering all my questions any time I ask stuff! Thank you both so much.
