I heard that song on the radio while driving to work Monday morning! Funny she would post it! I like it too!

Howard's is the best! It will restore a shine on the older wood REO's too!

Some of the first run Woodvils were a little too rounded on the bottom and were prone to tip over very easily. I sanded the bottoms, a wee bit, which took the original finish off. Some Howard's and then a finish with hard wax and you can't tell they don't have a "formal" finish. BTW.. the black switch will sand down some, too. Just take a small pointed metal object and wisk the groves of the plastic switch and it looks good as new. The first run Walnut Woodvil, I got off of classies, had been used so much some of the original finish wore off. Howard's and then hard wax and you can't even tell.

The Pila has a great reputation. The only thing I don't like about them is the fast charging. Lithium chemistry batteries "prefer" a slower charge.

I thought I had misplaced my TR-001 but low and behold DH carries it with him in his carry on.

I have 2 which one has the cord missing when I left it on vacation so should you or anyone need one because yours has died let me know its up for free...I cant use it. :)

I can not relate to having multiple tanks, Reos and flavored juices of all kinds. THat does not compute. It is out of my realm of thinking. It is beyond teflon. One Reo Grand, one flavor of juice. I am a Spartan warrior. I sleep on bamboo stakes. I eat Bear Grylls for my morning breakfast.

You need to get out more. Reos are great but so are some of the other VV mods. I like to use all or most of mine. If I keep having this problem though I'll have to put some of them away for backups and just use a couple but I would miss them. :(

when my juice start tasting burnt I slot another and toss the carto about every 5 days or so I don't toss the juice in the tank. if you take the carto apart with a pair of tweezers you'll see why it taste burnt because the stuff around the coil is melting or burnt

My juice doesn't taste burnt it just tastes bad.

I've read not to store juice in frig because condensation can build up in the bottles or tanks. Doesn't that happen to you?

Not at the higher temps I keep them at. I call the fridge a "cooler" because I keep it at the highest temp and use fridge/freezer thermometer to find the warmest place. Just like wines you don't want the temp to be too low. I think I read, long ago, that 50F is a good temp for storing mixed juices. And the least amount of air in the bottle the better. Not all fridges will maintain a temp close to 50F. I was just lucky having this one that cooperates. Last year a REOnaut posted a good price on a wine storage cooler. It may have been from Costco. You want "cool" but not "cold" from what I remember. Some of the FSUSA juices I pulled out of there, and they are just fine, are from late 2010.

Speaking of funky taste...my shorty was getting harder to draw on, so I put a new super shorty on my reo. And now it is nasty! Every vape I take, the inhale has faint flavor of the juice I am using, but OMG the soapy type flavor of the carto is killing it :( And I have used almost the entire bottle of this juice for days (had to switch mid bottle on my reo actually) so I know it isn't the juice-it is the carto :( I was really really hoping the smoketech problem wouldn't affect the super shorties but now I am not so sure.

I also noticed that when I took the end cap off, I kind of slid one side of the cap on the inside of the carto-and it got something on it from the inside wall of the carto. The filler wasn't all the way to the wall on one side either. Hate to throw away a brand new carto, wonder if washing it out would help...hmmm

I've been getting a couple that are bad too. After 2 drags I get burnt taste, squonk and 2 vapes burnt again. I looked down into the carto and the filler wasn't all the way around the tube. Most of them are good though and the best vape I've had yet with any carto.

I could try capping the tanks with condom cups. Air could be getting in through the drip tips. I hadn't thought about that but the filled cartos that I have stored have condom cups on each end and they go bad after a few weeks too if not used. But then again, they are stored in my warm lit living room. Those I could move to a cool dark place.

I do have some prefilled cartos from 2010 that haven't gone bad BUT they are straight tobacco or tobacco menthol. The juice ingredients/flavorants more than likely have a lot to do with it. And someone, earlier, pointed out that the juice does get heated up over and over again in a tank, when you are using it.

I would "like" that post but.........I'm sitting at the computer looking at 5 Reos all loaded up with a different juice. And I've used each of them today.

Perhaps your buds are having a day or two off for vacation. Save the juice, switch to a new one. Put on a new carto tank and vape. In a week try that juice that tastes bad and see if it still tastes nasty. Yeah, I should get out more. :)

If I dump the juice and refill with the same flavor the juice is good again even with the same carto.

I haven't had the problem with juice going bad, in a tank, but I only fill and use one or two at a time and I use a filling up before a weeks time. I have only one big one and that's a Phiniac Tall boy. It's the only one loaded, at the moment. The rest of my tanks hold no more than 3ml.

And these 2010 prefilled cartos are in your frig? That might be why they are still good. Mine are in my living room where it is lit and warm.

You are living too large and soft. Send 4 of them to me. You'll feel better paring down and going simple. Honest, would I lie to you.

Is that the first time you've ever heard that song?

Keeping the air away from juice helps. You could put a condom on atty/carto. You could also take battery(s) out of mod, put mod in baggie, and store in warmest part of fridge. I have a small fridge, upstairs, I can turn all the way up and get between 45-50F. That's where I store mixed juices long term. If you are concerned with moisture in baggies, with mod, you can get small desiccant packets at Amazon that you could throw in the mod baggie. I keep the little desiccant packets in with all my vaping gear boxes.

Hi Alice!

Are desiccant packets those ones that they tell you not to eat? What does it help with inside the gear boxes?

Is Teak extra round? Teak has a balancing problem. I need to set Teak on it's side so he doesn't fall down!

What VV mods do you have?

Hi everyone! I'm in and out :)

Yeah, it's my bigger tanks that give me the biggest problem. I can't vape all that juice plus all my other tankfulls before it spoils. :(
