Just heard from Gil!

He is still in the rehab place. Seeing his surgeon tomorrow. If he can get the approval he needs he will be going home. He has lots of help available and will be all set up to rehab safe in his own surroundings! Everything will be done so he can just rest and get better.

He misses everyone! And thanks you all for your kind words.

Lisa, he said to tell you he is not in need of vaping stuff right now! In fact he has not been vaping. But is not planning on it staying that way!

Good Afternoon REOville!
I don't mean to sound like a martyr or anything. But I would just like to say...
I am SOOOO due for what is coming to me. I have been a good boy for almost 2 years, and only have one PV, My beloved REO Grand. I cycle between 2 atomizers for MONTHS with dirty coils, and I DIY like 4 flavors of juice and I use every drop. I even only have like 3 drip tips that are cheap 3 dollar specials. I know I am not as deserving as some for sure, I'm definitely not a charity case, I have everything I "NEED". What I am saying is...
I vape like I am broke, which is not always the case. BUT...

Now I have a VV REO, an ERA, a chinese DID, a Vivi, A bunch of batteries, a drip tip, 6ml bottles, and a bottle buddy coming to me. I recently got a kick and 4 18490 batteries and a new Xtar 6 bay charger (I have been using my WF-139 forever) This is a darn good time for vaping for me. I feel like I should feel guilty when I add it all up, but I refuse to. I am just super stoked to get everything!

Well guys I might have solved the ERA on tiny REO's issue. Might not still be able to jam them in the cups of the brass, but the metals should all be good. Going to go experiment. Here is the playbook. Take the coil off of your ERA. Get a flat head screwdriver with a beefy handle. Start unscrewing the center post with EXTREME PREJUDICE on the bottom. The tall post inside will start to lower to the point where it might end up the shorter post in the end. Lower it till it makes contact with the bottom of the REO. This won't solve the no catch cup issue I have with it, but it might just work. I know they told me to do this when I first got them, but I was scared by the amount of force this took and the shape of the end of the connection (it's a little domed shaped) . Apparently you just have to put on your big boy panties and do work. I will report back with findings!

how much vertical play do you need? it seems feasable but it would be sort of risky, seems like it could easily short... no?

I applaud your restraint and commitment. I have had 17 REO's, Still have 9 or 10...or....my name is Dan...and I have a problem. Teach me o great one!

Valerie...I'm s ure someone else will chime in with better detail, but, to make it short and not mess it up, Gil had an accident at home and cut off almost the whole front of his foot, but he was rushed to emergency and the surgeons managed to sew it back on.Right now he's in rehab.

Hi REOville

I been gone since sunday 26th when I had 80% of left foot severed in a accident at home when I was alone. I was lucky to enough to crawl to my cell to call 911 where the fire dept EMTs broken in to find pass out with major blood loss. The surgeons were able to reattach my foot to my delight when I finally woke up 3 days later. Im in a rehab facility evenutally learning to walk again but the next 2 weeks is no weight bearing so Im limited to simple upper body exercise. This is my first time the local mafia of permanent residence old ladies allowed me on the 2 only PCs.

Im already getting dirty looks for being on too long so I gotta go. I just wanted to say Hi and Good Luck to the new VV REO Grand owners and I wish I could be around for the fun...see ya ll in a month I hope!
