Deadliest Catch...lol, I'm watching..er, sorta...watching it right now, one of my most favorite shows.

We love it too....Wayne did some time on the Time Bandit....and has fished with a lot of those guys up there and he was high school buddies with Nick on the Northwestern. So we rather enjoy the show. :) He's always telling me crazy stories about fishing in the Bearing Sea.

Lisa, do you like the new addition " After the Catch' on Deadliest Catch?

BTY...I think I'm in love with Wild Bill Polish last name...lol

It's okay....I like hearing their insights and their stories of years past. The banter is fun too. But given the choice...I prefer the regular show. I watched the one episode that told of a terrible scary season with the massive ice pack and stuff. So I'm waiting on the edge of my seat to see what happens to the Wizard.

I've enjoyed tonite here in Reo lounge...but now my old ....'s numb from sitting so long and the tub's calling me, so i'll wish you all a good nite's sleep and a great 4th of July!

edit; I enjoy every time I'm here, but tonite was exceptional!

Have a great bath, Kay :)

hey Lisa how do you disable the on off feature on a grand ?

Well, when I did it, I used a letter opener and just pushed the little locking pin into the button. There is another way, dismantling the button...but I've never done it...yet. So I can't tell someone how to do that. That information would be best received directly from Rob. :)

No...it's not sold at the stores we checked....I tried 5 places so far... I ended up opting for the overpriced THunderShirt. Nearly everywhere I went tried to sell us a variety of drugs. HOpefully this will do the trick. There are some more stores I can check tomorrow...and some down south too....I'm sure one way or another...I'll be able to get some. :) I appreciate the suggestion, Darrel
Lisa, please let me know how the ThunderShirt works. I've been considering getting one for my friend's anxiety ridden bitey Chow.

amen to that. id tell him since your buying his smokes its outside or your not buying anymore for him....oh yeah, and..hes cut off, lol.

Cutting him off.......LOL.........only wish that was an option........lets just put it this way no 30 yr old should be this neglected.......even when we are together in that manner my pleasure moment is something that I can very well do myself WITHOUT him.

Let's think about this:

NO JOB
HORRIBLE IN BED
I MOW MY OWN YARD
I CHANGE MY OWN OIL IN CAR

HMMMMMMMMM ONLY GOOD THING IS HE IS GOOD WITH THE KIDS AND HE WILL COOK IF NEEDED.............yes after 4.5 yrs I'm bitter

Say whatever u gotta say because honestly I was just on craigslist looking at different place to live WITHOUT him.

I call him hubby but we aren't legally married and all 4 kids aren't his so that makes life easier. Only thing is I gotta do it in a manner where he would have no way of knowing where I am or the threats gets bad and keeps me messed up in the head.
So just my 2 cents but sounds like you have a couple of options 1)continue being miserable and living in an unhealthy environment 2)get another man that can protect from the 1 you need to get rid of if he crosses the line of being civil 3) get an order of protection and call the cops immediately when he violates it no matter how small of an infraction 4) you may have already done this but if not sit down with him and put it all on the table let him know your not happy and things have to change ASAP
There's no need for you to be in the situation your in YOU DESERVE TO BE HAPPY END OF STORY!! :D

i ordered 1 and saw someone backed out so i emailed the coop admin and he let me up it to 3
really hope i love them
same here bumped mine to 2:D

Lisa, please let me know how the ThunderShirt works. I've been considering getting one for my friend's anxiety ridden bitey Chow.

Hi Christina :)
oohh...an anxious chow is scary, indeed. I've seen the ugly side of Chow and I have a healthy respect for how different that particular type of dog is from many others.

Here's where I'm at with this. I just picked it up today and put it on her. While I could see a noticeable difference right away, it still didn't stop her from slinking away to hide at every snap crackle and pop. She was calmer, but it's not a miracle cure. I think in this instance, it would have been best if we had done this a week ago when the fireworks weren't in the forefront of her mind.

While taking them out to potty, Zoomie promptly lifted his leg and peed right on her shirt. So it's been washed and is now hang drying. However, after removing it, she is more skittish. So I just put her in her kennel at the back end of the hallway with all the doors closed and turned some music on in the office to help offset the focus of the noise.

I'm heading to the Co-op in the morning to take a shot at that Rescue stuff that Darrel recommended. She just might be a hard case and may take more than a few things to calm her.

I did talk to the hospital staff and some patrons at the pet store to see what the feedback is like on the shirt and everyone who has reported back has loved it. I wanted to find out before I actually bought it.

So I give it a C+....but like I said...it would probably be best to start using this when the animal isn't freaking out and not to expect miracles.

LOL @ Zoomie ...... on her shirt! Thanks for the info. Maybe it would make him feel a bit more secure.

And WOW Lisa, your home is beautiful. So warm and inviting. It makes me feel like I'm living in a dorm with cheap hand me down furniture. I have zero interior decorating talent.

Thanks Christina :) It's all junk to most people...dealers wouldn't pay me a dime for most of it. It's all well used, scratched, cracked, dinged....but these pieces have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When my parents divorced and my mom started losing storage units, I paid what I could and took everything I could get my hands on. I don't think I'll ever have these refurbished....except for maybe the gold corduroy chair and ottoman.

I think the shirt is worth a shot, honestly. Just not the day before the 4th of July.:laugh:

I agree with you. Nothing will help tomorrow at this point but maybe starting him with one very soon will help. We've got about six months until their baby starts walking (not long at all until he starts crawling).

Yep...and the last place you want that child is near his food dish. I've seen the results and it's not pretty.

They have strict eating times and are crate fed. He's UGLY with the other dogs as well. It's so sad. He's such a sweet boy with people he trusts, but there's only about 5 of them in the whole world.
