I went to my brick and mortar "analog" store yesterday. Partially to return their funny little point cards that earn you a free carton about every year, and partially to inquire about whether or not they are stepping up to digital smoking.
The funny little man that owns the store was hilarious. Okay, need to put some background in here real quick.
His
shop was grandfathered in to be less than 100 yards from the local high school. <HINT!!> They expanded the high school a few years back and his old shop was already in place on the border. Now the parking lot of the high school emptys in to his front door.
Okay, back to the story. I asked him if he was going to carry or did carry e-cigarrettes. He produced this pseudo cigarrette that looked like a Kool 1,000, that came with one flavor of preloaded cartomizers, that he charged $140.00 for.
I showed him my Riva with clearomizer, and my REO Grand with the 510 cartomizer, and did my noob best to explain what I knew about them and where to order each set up. REOMODS.COM <cough>
All this funny little man was worried about was whether or not the Riva tip lit up like an actual cigarrette!
That made me think, why would that be his only concern? Maybe because of his target audience?
I was just trying to get a brick and mortar store locally, in case I ran out of something and needed a quick pick up, while I waited for my rescue order to show up in our snail mail system.
