If anyone has a chalice don't try putting it in any thing but a grand or VVGrand. Will not go in woodvilles easily except the VVW and even then it's a bad idea. The length of the cup does not allow you to get it out if it accidentally gets over tightened. Despite my best efforts mine is now stuck in my 18490 woodville. Not a bad place to be stuck since its firing but wishing it wasn't. I will try the freezer to get it out now.

Could you use pliers on the posts gently to start it turning? Or on the side of the basin the posts sit on?

It's not coming off. The posts are to fragile to help. Just going to use it like this till I get my ERA. Then I guess it's off to the REO hospital. Let Rob dig it out. He can fix anything. Even tried a strap wrench. Just not much surface area to get a grip.

Awww, sorry. I was hoping maybe it was just hot and had expanded and would come off when it cooled down.

Well it barely went inside. The diameter is such that it actually doesn't actually screw in. I cranked it down by accidentally turning it the wrong way trying to get it out. It was the resistance on the sides that made it so it wasn't wanting to come out even before it made contact enough to fire I was just trying it out on my other REOs to help out others. Didnt fit on the 18490 metal or the mini metal. It really wasn't that great on the woodville standard either. The VV wood was the only winner. I don't have a grand right now, but it seems to have been made for it.
