Families...ya gotta love em,lol

We were discussing that very statement on the way home and came to the conclusion that family that you've known and been around...that statement rings true for the most part. But family who are so far removed and you have absolutely no history with whatsoever...nah...you gotta get to know them and establish some history before we can go so far as saying anything about love. There's some creepers in that bunch. *sigh* We go to this for the benefit of my father in law. He is now the oldest living relative in his line after his mother passed a few months ago and that irony weighs on him pretty heavily. So it's pretty important to him to reach out and bring us together. So we go, because we love him and we do our best to put our smiles on and stow our tempers and our tongues. I'm just glad this is a once a year deal. Today was successful because I went and met new people and stayed clear of the ones I had already met. It was just best for everyone involved. I vaped and didn't explain it to anyone, but again...no one wanted to know. My sister in law didn't last one hour before she got frustrated and left.

:lol::lol: Weren't you just complaining about that the other day?

Oh yeah! I am to keep my phone with me at all times. I am not to use a step stool to reach things up high. I am not to climb on things. I must slow down, no running!

Just some rules from my daughter!

every year you go somewhere bad ......aruba...la playa del carmen...st. martin...just adds to the vacation budget:)...luv the REO!

That is a great idea to save what you would have spent on cigs. I used mine to buy a few more REO's! Think I have used up the budget for a couple of years!

Hello Everyone,

Just thought I would share with the wonderful people on the REO thread. Today is my three year anniversary being analog free and vaping. It has also been 26 months using a REO. Both a truly milestones for me.

That is fantastic news, Ray!!! Congratulations on a remarkable milestone! Did you feel like you would never be able to break free of them? I'm just a few weeks shy of being smoke free for 2 years, and I was convinced I was going to die a smoker's death.

I absolutely felt the same way. I was 63 years old and had been diagnosed with emphysema and still could not stop. My daughter sent me a Smoking Free e-cig she had bought at her local mall for my birthday and after letting it sit without trying for over two months I finally broke down and gave it a try. This after waking up in the middle of the night with a severe smokers cough. Well, I gave it a try and have been smoke free ever since. BTW my wife stopped the same day after 30 years of smoking.

That is wonderful!!! Kudos to your lovely Lady for committing and succeeding! I found it very difficult...and it took me another 5 months after Wayne was able to quit before I could. But I'm thankful for every day further away I get from my last smoke.

That's why I get so fired up when I hear or read that the FDA, some new organization or politician is being critical of vapinwithout knowing what they're talking about. I tried every "approved" smoking cessation device without success as I'm sure many of us vapers did. I know I would never have stopped without e-cigs.

Hi REO friends!!!! xoxo

Lisa how is your Zoomy doing? Sorry to hear your pup isn't feeling well. My cat was sick last week and I was crying every day. I thought he was going to die. I can relate to what you're going through and it's awful. *hugs*

Congrats on the house Darrel!

Hope the move is coming along Karen!

Hi Pietro! xo

Hi Kristin :)
Sorry I missed ya. My dad called and haven't talked to him in a while, so I left to give him my full attention.

Zoomie is doing okay...he's been down relaxing for most of the day, but the drugs have given him a false sense of security. He's up racing around again  Gotta figure out a way to keep him from doing that. The vet told me to contain him in a pen or a kennel, but its so vastly different then how he lives, I don't know how he'll handle that. He yanked on the leash pretty hard today and I was so worried he was making things worse. Oh well....I'm sure it will be okay, just trying to keep him mellow. He gets his next does of pain killer in an hour or so.

Jumping in for a few minutes. Much love to all. Lots has gone on and I mean to find out so I'll be bothering some of you for info.;)

Beaming "well being" and "healing" to all beloved pets.

Happy Birthday Kay. Hope you gave yourself some presents.

So Lisa and Wayne are moving? I think I saw something. Poor Dears.

Karen, saw your "Granny House." Looks perfect.

Love to all. I'm doing a little reading and hope to be more active. Missed you all a whole bunch.

Love, Feisty Alice

Putting some things up in the classifieds today. All my non-Rebuildable non-REO stuff. My DW quit her job this past Monday due to working for the second crazy female Non-Christian lawyer in one year. It's hard to work when you are being yelled at,cussed, and demeaned so she was done and I agreed with her. She had an interview Friday at an insurance agency, so things should be back to normal soon, since she
Aced it.

So my VV Grand budget is in jeopardy because of this and I need to get this stuff gone. Gimme some bumps if you get a chance. Sob story for bumps over!

Beaming strength and patience.

Hugs, Feisty Alice
