Ok 4 wraps of twisted 32g Nichrome gets me 1 ohm so if you twist you get a lower resistance with more surface area
Evening all. Hope everyone had a productive day. I DIY'ed about three weeks worth of juice tonight in anticipation of my mini. I've got as low as 12mg/ml. Also, USPS tracking numbers have been about worthless, so it's a blind race to see which gets here first: The REO (with batteries, but no charger), The extra batteries I ordered, or the charger I ordered. Hopefully they'll come all at once, but that's probably too much to ask.
Ya I hear ya. I was expecting a package yesterday....it arrived today...but still hasn't updated since NH.

The first one I did I used Kanthal 32 with two wraps around two peaces of 2mm wick.
The second one that I am running now I found some .20 Kanthal I had from another atty 3 wraps around two peaces of 2mm wick.
I saw a vid today that some one was using 28ga Kanthal and a 3-4 wrap and it was firing at 1.2-1.3.
I will be picking up some from Ebay this week to play with. I will post the link tomorrow when I am on the big PC.
I am exploring the best way to wrap a Low Ohm atty for use on the Grand. I will try to keep every one posted. I may start a thread on it so we call can test different set ups out.

i am using 32 awg kanthal. just did 2 of three @ 3 wraps metered @ 1.4 ohms and tested for shorts on my VV . WOO HOO
life is good, blowing big plumes and now loving my ERAs. now to do the 3rd one. yes i bought three ERAs. really took a chance not knowing how they work
I will check the spool aging in the morning and let you know. I have so much wire left over from the gen attys this not funny.
I will pick up the 28ga tomorrow and will let you know what I get out of it after it gets here.

I have been at this game a while now and must say this, after trying ever atty I could get my hands on over the past 2 1/2 years these RB-BF attys are the best vape I have ever had.
More flavor huge vapore production, Same vape all day day after day.
I have been using ether the Challis or the ERA on a VVG or a Grand non stop for the past week or so and do not think I can go back to standard attys.

Couldn't agree with you more. Even the cheapo rebuildable attys are leaps and bounds ahead of the regular attys. I tried a new joye 510 last night, took it off after a very short amount of timel. Cant use them any more, I am now spoiled!

these are my 1st RBAs and i had some trouble getting started but now its all good. they rock. sorry tripp probley gonna keep them
