On another note, do ya'll think a newbie like me could tell the difference between "cisco-spec" and regular 306 attys? Is it worth the few dollars extra? Also, would you recommend 1.5 or 1.8 for the mini. I like the 1.7 shortys as far as cartos, but don't know much about attys.

I don't know, really. I suppose it's up to you to take the risk. I really like the ciscos myself, but if you're just learning atties, it might be best to get some cheapies, or maybe just buy a couple to try and see what you think, before you go on a huge buying spree. Since you're vaping unflavored juice, I would say get both to see which you like better. The sad part is that what I like is not necessarily what you would like.
