Hope everyone is hanging in there. I am trying to find out how much it costs to send a small package to Singapore for a fellow vapor. Anyone know how to find out exactly how much it will be BEFORE I ship? They are paying for the shipping and I don't want to over (or undercharge).
You might just call the post office or whoever you are using to deliver it.
I live in a small town and just usually take it up there after it's pack. No surprises!!
Beside when I do go to the website, I usually pay too much just "to make sure!"
Evening everyone, the Chalice has finally landed. Been going great for a few hours. Gotta get some supplies together and make a better coil/wick though. Even with the high cost I all ready wish I had bought two of them. Oh well more in October last I heard.
What a hectic day here, cant wait to make some dinner get the kids to bed and play with my new toy.

I didn't actually start getting disability until March of 2011, so the 2 year waiting period ends March 2013. I got SSI payments for the months between September and March 2011, so I had wrongly assumed that September was the date they were counting from.
I'm squeaking my wheels to see if I can get something done.
I just want to get back to work and a semi-normal life.
Ya...but the tracking only works until it clears customs. Then it's all on Canada Post. He just called me about 10 minutes ago to tell me he has the document.
so after the 2 days it took USPS to get it to Canada, there was another 5 days of farting around lower mainland BC before he got it.

Oh Della DH is disables and we've had to play the SSI game for some time now. To complicate matters, DH goes through the VA for his general health care and meds. Both are nerve racking games.

sashwa there is a two year waiting period from when you start receiving SSI payments. DH automatically got medicare because it took two years after his filing date.
Since he got his, they have changed the rules which stink a royal one!!

There is nothing 'normal' or logical about the process. What really gets me is that I get too much disability money to qualify for state Medicaid. Screw me for working and putting into the system for too many years.
