I have been out and about. Got a paper I needed from the title clerk so I could transfer my title to Ohio. I still owe on my Mariner so the lien holder holds the title. Filled out that paper and faxed it.

Went to the bank and cashed a couple checks.

Went to the farm and got my gallon of fresh milk!

I bought some jalapeno peppers the other day. Going to make some poppers today! Loads of cream cheese and deep fry!

Going to work on some of my REO covers. Got the patterns cut just got to fit and glue.

Sun is shinning bright getting up to 72 today.

It WILL be a terrific day off!

Gotta love that! I'm glad you're having a good day!

 Ya...I know...don't remind me. I have a huge debt to karma, and I'm afraid that payback is going to be a bigger b than I am!

The funny thing is that she doesn't outright "argue" ...you know with the scrunched up face, screeching teenie voice, balled up fists and stomping feet. No, she's too smart for that. She questions my instructions, and suggests other ways of doing something or sometimes just does something OTHER than what i asked for, under the premise that she was being helpful. All I want for her to do is simply demonstrate that she can follow directions....in a timely manner. If she does so and proves to me that I am wrong or addled in the brain, I can own up to that. But for the love of all that is good, simply do it my way the first time, then we have room for discussion on the matter.

Just be patient, you will find that grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your children.

Of course in the meantime raising kids is very similar to being pecked to death by a chicken.

 Perfect.
The fun part is the realization that joining the military is going to be like a long vacation for her. Mind you, I was never in the military, but we're surrounded by military types.

As a single parent to a daughter for 16 1/2 years I learned two very important lessons; first, it's easier to raise a boy, you only have to worry about one private part and second, when it comes to boyfriends with raging hormones the fine art of violence may be crude... but it works.

Even my son-in-law knows enough not to touch my daughter... my grandchildren were born through immaculate conception.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Might I ask an off topic question, please? Assuming my daughter and SIL don't sell my new Mini and ERA's at a yard sale before I get home, if I ever get home, will an ERA fit, (work), on the Mini with an adapter?

I am hoping to make it my inconspicuous yet handy-dandy vaping mod while dancing. (I tried using a hookah but it always wants to lead.)

Just a little reminder for everyone.

Early tomorrow, 7:25 a.m. EDT, Jen turns VET.

If you are or can be up at that time, please drop by the Pre-Vet thread for her turning party!

I am heading to bed and will set my alarm to be there!

Hoping to see a good bunch of Reonauts at the party!

Hello everyone. Been a busy few days week that is. No sleep last night. Best friend and mentor in life was diagnosed with leukemia last night. Of course it was all done in hospital where DW works while she was on shift so she was all upset too. Anyways. Getting settled in new house. Have some unexpected expenses but other than that alls good. Hope everyone is well and happy and healthy. Remember wealthy isn't the most important thing in life :)
