Good morning, everyone! Getting the house ready and the roast ready. Got the family gathering at our house today. All in all, not a bad way to use a Sunday Though, the downside is our garbage can is already full and pick up isn't until Thursday. I can see me doing a dump run on Monday.

Was lazy yesterday so I'm back to sorting through stuff today. At least I can see the end of it now!!

heh, heh....cleaning. We've let some stuff pile up after we switched office & bedrooms around....with the intentions of going through it and never got back to it. With 16 people showing up today, I figured the less crap we have laying around the better. it needed to be done. We've got this move looming over our heads and its a great way to get started. We've got a ton of recycling that needs to go and a ton of just stuff that either isn't ours or we don't use that will be donated to various organizations.
Decided the chores will all be here tomorrow...I'm back on the couch with some more coffee, fresh juice bottle and I love Lucy on the tube.

I remember you saying you were doing that Lisa.
We actually started months back but at first it was son's stuff and most of it got moved when he moved out.
When we finally got around to our stuff we burned the paper that we couldn't or didn't want to recycle and that helped a lot.

Ya, I wish burning was an option, but it isn't here in city limits. I don't know if there is a burn ban in effect, but there is in surrounding areas, so I assume there is. Also if we were burning outside, I think we need a permit these days...or a lot of other folks would be doing it. And our fireplaces are sadly not in safe usable condition so it's RE-comp for us. I'll be glad when we have a house of our own on the mountain where we can do as we please and everything is in working order. I want a firepit, so keeping unwanted paper around will be handy for firestarter.
If I could, I'd live around a fire pit. - Status
