Wow fridge tipp'in dogs. That's a first Alice.

It's a unique experience, but not uncommon when one has literally tons of active dogs inside. Nothing like having 800-1000 lbs of dog slam against the inside of heavy old 4 wheel drive diesel Blazer when making a turn too fast!! Felt like an almost tip - over.

BTW.... I had only one seat in Blazer, driver's seat. Later a friend's Mastiff stripped a lot of the interior down to metal. Bubs didn't care as long as they had good footing.

Lock her up, Jen.

Out here, they don't adopt out any cats, kittens, pups, or dogs until they have been neutered from shelters. When I adopted Ben the Dog from the Rescue group, he had just been neutered and still was wearing his fancy collar and had the shaved leg where they sedated him for the surgery.

She IS locked up. Meowing like crazy, which sets the dogs off. Then I yell. Sounds like a madhouse around here.

...at least I have wine:D

Whilst vaping my newly concocted Pumpkin Pie juice I just watched Faith Hill sing the intro to Sunday night football. If I had a scotch I could die a happy man.

WAIT... I do have scotch! (If I had Faith Hill I'd die even happier.)

The Pumpkin Pie turned out pretty good, actually better than I expected. Gonna mix up a bigger batch at halftime and let it steep for a few days, should round it out very, very nicely.

DH and I agree about Faith being one nearly perfect piece of female human flesh. He thinks I was like that not too long ago. His memory is defective but I'm not about to set him straight.

BTW.... lamb was rosemary and basil and no dill. After 36 years marriage he's jut now informing me he only really likes lamb chops and well done!

He had lots of lamb growing up (and venison and even horse during WWII) . I didn't have it till I was an adult. My older sister would come home from visiting rich friends with scrumpious reports of meals including various cuts of lamb and mint jelly. After that we had mint jelly on pork chop night.

Now that I'm doing the cooking we are going to have a lot more shank, my favorite meat from large mammals. Can't beat it for tenderness and suculence as long as it's braised properly. No fat!!!! DH sampled the lamb au jus and exclaimed "fat"!!!!! There was none; just a warped belief.

We've built up some "pause time" now for second half.

Over and out to watch game.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Don't be surprised if all the male cats in your area come a calling.

All the female dogs, within a mile or so out here are spayed. Jake Mastiff, our only intact dog, four years in Jan, past couple of years, has a week each year of crying, moaning, howling, restlessness, off food..... We think it's probably coyotes in estrous.

If i had known it was going to rain like this I would have skipped this morning's shower. :glare: Now I need a towel to dry my hair again.

Good evening, everyone :)

It could be snowing instead! I would rather have it snow then rain. I hate rain.
