Don't fret dearest. It'll be mid 70s today.

Glad to see Kay around. Sorry for your continued nightmare.

Bummer about your REOmizer Scott. Looks like that's happened to others. Bad for you guys but good for the rest of us to learn from.

We are now pretty tired of T-day food. Hoping to put together left over pies today. Movie "Lincoln" was good but no epic.

Good day fine REO Folk. Stay safe and find and give some happy.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Good Morning everyone! I do host a radio show, but it's Top 40/CHR. I am a different Dan Patrick but on the radio as well. But my original air name back in 94 was Dangerous Dan. Lol.

OUR Dan Partrick is the good and nice one. The "other" one is an a*ss hole.

It's always a good day when I'm seeing green instead of roots.

Gotta drive down to Texas Friday, gonna miss 3 nights of dancing... they need to pay me more for this kind of personal sacrifice.

Jack

Come through Tulsa, it's on the way sort of, kind of, well not really but regardless, come by and we will feed you well. DW is a hell of a cook.

Although I may be old and feeble I do own a map, and surprisingly enough know how to read it.

Actually I'd very much like to swing by and meet you guys but my schedule requires that I head south down I-25 and stop in Trinidad for breakfast with a shooting buddy. He owns a BIG O tire store and every trip he gives me 2, five gallon buckets of used wheel weights. (In the bullet casting world they are getting as hard to find as hen's teeth. All the manufacturers are transitioning to zinc or steel which is useless for casting bullets.) These two buckets will put me up around 1,400 pounds of weights which I'll start melting and casting when winter actually sets in. Lat winter I cast just over 60,000 bullets in various caliber and weights. (Guns and reloading are the only thing I know about... I'm such a slug.)

The major heavy equipment auction take a break until the middle of February after the December auctions so perhaps I can arrange to swing by and torment you guys in the spring. (Oh, that's my only other talent... I'm good at tormenting people, ask Pietro.)

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Good afternoon everyone. Just loaded cement mixer into truck have to pour shed foundation ASAP and get it built soon. Hope the weather can give me a break. Sittin on side of the road waiting for dear wife to finish ACLS test (costs too much to park in lot) if I had more money I'd be cruising the big Home Depot here but I know I'd see something I need but don't need

Know what you mean about HD. Other night I left DH waiting in car while I made a big circle around HD to pick up what was on my list. Downstairs bathroom's 48" recessed florescent light needs replacing and I have to cut new defuser panels. Being lazy and wanting to get it done as soon as possible I picked up one that has the defuser wrap around; $50 instead of $20. Just couldn't help myself. (My justification is that I don't have to spend the time cutting the brittle plastic and probably having to buy another after my first goof up.)

HD is my very most favorite store!!!!

The little 47 year old bodybuilder I've been... er... seeing, (she really is a bodybuilding freak but it looks good on her :D ), works at Home Depot. She always tells me she can get me a discount... I'd prefer if she worked at a pharmacy, the discount would come in a lot more handy.

What... I take a lot of aspirin.

hey there Darrel sounds like a big job :)

Not too bad. Kinda wish instead of a steel shed I had just opted for a wood frame shed tho. Probably less frustration in the end  as far as pad it's just manual labour. Could get cement truck but I'm too cheap

How's ur day Scott ?

I was a big Home Depot fan for years but I've come to prefer Lowe's because I can actually find someone to help me. Maybe it's different in your neck of the woods, Alice, but sales associates at Home Depot's in WA are hard to find.

We are supposed to get building permits for any building we put up but as long as it isn't on concrete foundation they let them pass and don't fine if they find out about it (so far). My small barn is a pole barn. If I can ever get DH to move up to our "front forty" (0.77 acre) into a Yurt it will certainly be "pole" (pier and beam) foundation. Only problem with raised is snakes and other critters love to get and/or nest under them. (DIY grey water and composting toilet, almost off-grid with solar generator and solar panels I already have. Rain collection but some city water.) We can't build home on less than 1 acre but I'll "rent" a room from neighbor and Yurt will be a "storage" shed. The darn plot is zoned commercial in the middle of miles of residential. It was zoned that way with a 60 ft wide easement connecting to what is now the Audubon Society refuge but was originally planned as subdivisions early 70's. Our small plot was meant for construction equipment storage and access to deep woods planned for development. City never built the planned addition of road at the end of our dead end road, thank doGness, to connect street to that area of woods.
