Aw Scott, I'm so sorry, it's awful when a parent can't be with a child, no matter the reason. How old will she be?
The reason I ask isn't to be nosy, but only that one day, when she's gone thru enough life experiences, both good and bad,
hopefully she'll realize that family is important, no matter what.

My brother didn't have any contact with his two kids, a girl and a boy, he lost custody, so on and so forth when they were very little,
but in the last three years they've both been back in his life and the son has two little girls that adore him. And even his ex-wife is friendly with him.

I had to work today, (I'm all wound up), that makes it twice in one month I had to work. Retirement isn't quite working out the way I planned. At least I don't have to do it again until the beginning of March.
