I took what you said and put it in sequence so it is clear what you are doing and what is happening.

tastes dry
squonk, see juice pooling
fire, see vapor
fire, and vape: nothing
nudge coils
fire, see vapor
vape good: lotsa vape, no TH

First thing is that while the A-7 I have and the Reomizer may look similar they do require some learning on how they function. In other words, the draw is different on each of mine. I do not cover the air hole on the Reomizer. The A-7 is as it came.

Air intake on the two is different, in my opinion, because of the placement of the air intake holes. I feel like that is why the two require different vaping techniques.

Because of the very airy draw on the Reomizer I find it better to fire and take one short draw, keep firing and take another longer draw. It seems to work better for me with that procedure. On the A-7 I take a easy and slow, long draw.

The wetness of the coil has a definite bearing on the amount of vapor produced. This is on both atty's. In other words the amount of juice in the wick next to the coils determines the vapor that will be available before the wick is dry. Same as on regular atty's.

The length of your wick will affect where the juice goes and how fast it can reach the coil. So, a longer wick will soak up the juice but it might not travel far enough to reach the coil. You would need to squonk more juice into the atty to get the coil wet. You must also allow more time after squonking for that to happen. A short wick will only capture juice when it is coming out of the hole. That is if your coil is on top of the hole. In mine the coil and short wick is just a fraction of an inch away from the hole. I can see the juice come out and touch the coil and wick. Squonking more juice quickly just makes it pool at the bottom, away from the coil/wick. I squonk, then wait a few seconds for the juice to spread through the wick, then vape.

You might want to use just one RBA for a whole day and see if you can master the technique it requires to produce a good vape. Of course if you are frustrated use a regular atty if you need.

There are just so many variables with these RBA's. Throw in a few different kinds and you can double or triple those variables.

These are just my findings. I am by no means an expert. I am just learning!

Heck, I didn't even get into the relationship of the number of coils to good vapor production! Still got some experiments to do with that!

Just please consider this whole new experience of making our coils will take time, and patience. While we might make a perfect coil/wick, add the perfect amount of juice and get massive vapor, our next coil/wick might challenge us to find what we did different.

Hang in there Kay! One day we will look back at these days and wonder why it was so hard to learn!! ((((hugs))))

KAREN!!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!:wub::wub::wub:

You took so much thought and time to explain those things to me!

This DOES make you my unofficial official tutor!

and I'm going to get the learning curve down on them one at a time as you suggest!

Good Morning Reokin! I have been on vacation and tapatalk is lame, but I am back and present! Hope everyone has a good day! Got a live remote today in Nacogdoches Jen!
I'm about to run in to grab some veggies. We've been living on hickory farms sausage, cheese, crackers, olives, nuts and other yummy holiday fare. And cookies, too many cookies. I want something light for the next 10 days.

Where are you gonna be? I'm going to have Ma Kettle with me, so she might not want to stop. I can surely to a honking, screaming drive by though

I am watching it today! Yesterday was way to hectic and I didn't have the time to really enjoy sitting for a movie.

After my busy morning I will no doubt be ready for a relaxing rest of the day. I liked the other MIB. Love the actors!

Yah,,,especially Tommy Lee Jones!

He was probably so worn out from dodging all those long poles he didn't have any strength to post:D

You're a vicious woman Kay, I'm used to being married to women with your attitude... and I'm always on the lookout for another one. :p (Hey, look, I put a smily in the middle of a post. YEA ME!!!)

Was lurking yesterday but I'm in the middle of writing a prospectus for a medical group and it involves a lot of very boring computer research and a lot of very boring technical reading. I'd rather take a kick in the private parts with a frozen boot but as the say, 'ya gotta get it started if ya wanna get it done'.

No dancing on Thursdays, just Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. I'm old, I can't take more than 3 nights although every great while I get asked to help out with lessons on a Thursday night. (It's an off night, rarely more than 30 to 50 people show up and most everyone leaves by 10:30 to 11 so I pretty much skip it. (Unless of course some special lady asks on Wednesday night if I'll be there the next night. If she's not armed with said ten-foot pole I'll sacrifice watching Person of Interest and make my way down there. I try to be a Goodwill Ambassador in the war between the sexes.)

Having a bit of trouble with the Kick in my Grand again. Works fine for a few minutes on a fresh battery but then starts working intermittently as it is designed to do when the battery is dying. Not sure if the Kick is on it's last leg or if I just need to re-scuff the contacts and add a little Noalox. It'll give me something to do after I refill my coffee drum.

If the Kick is dead it'll give me an excuse to buy one of Rob's new VV/VW, (20 watt) Grands that he's bringing out in mid to late January. (If it turns out the Kick isn't dead I'm going to crush it under my boot.)

I probably should start working on Pietro's horse trough full of Apple Fritter juice before he starts crying like a little girl. (The squirrel incident was embarrassing enough.)

can you not use a multimeter to test you resistance claudia
DT830D LCD Digital Voltmeter Ammeter Ohm Multimeter with Test Leads | eBay

Thks!!!
I bought two "chinese" multimeters and they both are toys.. :-((
I cleaned the short away, the button is shorter now..
Made a new resistance and setted it by taste, shortening the ends and reducing the coils a couple of times..
My Grand works now and I am finally getting back in my "no less than 13 w".

Grazie !!

Watching the news coverage of the shooting at an elementary school in Connecticut. The response to this kind of call isn't written down in an operations or tactical manual nor is it approved of in the world of political correctness.

If you don't know what it is you don't need to know, your life is better not knowing... if you do know what it is or if you've actually ever applied it at this very moment you are struck with the realization that your greatest purpose in life no longer exists because you weren't there to stop it.

There are parents, at this very moment, living a nightmare that they never could have imagined. By comparison, none of us have any problems.

Jack

Edit: The news gets worse as the minutes go by.

I wish there could be really " unique" and extended punishment for the one that's still out there.
