Yes, not something I would have bought. Those little cups you put in to brew are way to expensive for me. But I can use it at work some with the other things I bought and it will not cost near as much.

I'm sure someone else already mentioned this, but you can buy the reusable cups on ebay and put your own coffee in it. Saves a boat load of money that way. I fell in love with the Kureg while at my MIL's place....but wasn't happy about spending that kind of dough on it....that's when she informed be ab out the other options available.

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from late Tuesday night through
late Wednesday night...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from late Tuesday night through
late Wednesday night.

* Hazard types... heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches. Sleet may
mix with the snow on Wednesday.

* Timing... snow is expected to develop after 1 am Christmas
night and continue through Wednesday before tapering off
Wednesday night.

* Impacts... hazardous travel conditions are expected due to
reduced visibilities and snow accumulations.

* Winds... northeast 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for
significant snow... that may impact travel. Continue to monitor
the latest forecasts.

Wednesday I have to be out and about. Got an apt for one of the guys. That does not sound like any fun!

Sure hope it changes for you. We were looking forward to a white christmas here, but it appears that forecast has changed as well. We'll be blessed with our usual rain. Wanna trade?

I bought the Pod Holster. It lets you buy the cheaper pods and use them. I also looked at the reusable one. I might pick that up later. With the thing I bought you can use the lid on a regular k-cup with your own coffee too. At least that is what I read.

It will be some experimenting to see what will work for me.

That's what she said, real coffee. I guess it works same way as your drip maker....only one fresh cup at a time. Keeps your coffee from turning bitter.

Hi Scott Sounds like you had a good meal. Tonight we're just hanging here with a last little bit of wrapping to do and some snacks in lieu of a full blown dinner. We're saving that for tomorrow. We'll be snacking on crackers, cheese, dry salami, etc.

Ya....Wayne is slicing up the various meats right now. He just about cried when he realized we forgot the pickeled variety of veggies we wanted. Even the olives. Oh well....it will be good either way.

I just had a nice little steak with baked potato for dinner and am watching "It's a Wonderful Life". Talked to my son on the phone, I have some chocolate by my side, so all's right in my world. Ho Ho Ho y'all!
