It was a splurge I wouldn't have done for myself. I love my laptop and keyboards too much. It will be great for after surgery and on my not so good days.

Yes, it will be good for those days! I know how that goes, a gift sometimes is not what we would buy. But sometimes that gift is really nice to have! Like my Keurig. I would never have bought one. But it is a fun thing to have for a special cup of something yummy. And it comes in handy here at work.

I think the A7 is perfect for the VV grand. I made mine with an oval shaped wick. Used 2 small drill bits and then shoves 2 strands of 3ml ceramic fiber wick through it and screwed it down. Been working great for about 2 weeks.

The Hornet is perfect for 18490 and 14500 REOs.

The chalice is perfect for a REO Woodville standard.

The REOmizer is great on the VV grand or woodville. if you like an airier draw.

The ERA standard works on the VV grand. But is a tight fit in any Woodville.

Right now I have the black a7 on the VV grand, hornet on woodville 18490. Chalice on woodville and REOmizer on the vv woodville.

It's a little too far for me to walk! My van does pretty good in snow. I just hope with all the warnings issued that the roads are salted and kept clear! And there is not that ice stuff!!! I don't do slick pavement well! LOL!

No one can drive safely on ice with standard vehicles. 4 wheel drive doesn't even help and can give people false sense of security. (Mud and snow yes for 4 wheel drive. Front wheel better for ice.)

DH cancelled his trip this morning; long icy drive to airport. Thousands of cars mini-wrecked in traffic early morning. More ice in morning early but we're taking more major highway route to DFW and avoiding close to lake. Got just warm enough today to melt some ice but freezing now. We've had 10F windchill much of past 24 hours. And it's really wet wind.

Kept electricity throughout. That's major holiday gift.

REOnauts and their loved ones very much in my warmest thoughts.

Hugs and love, Feisty Alice

Ok people are crazy. I got to best buy (future shop) we get here 20 mins before opening at 6 am and there way over a hundred people here already. Crazy crazy people. I may have to go hillbilly yet today. Maybe I should let the dogs play in parking lot they scare the shi* outa people when they play  and well Simba hates strangers. Do you think many will leave ?? Wish me luck please.

Fun. One Christmas season, during day, I went to BB with two personal protection trained Bubs (fully capable of biting if they judged situation called for). In station wagon with tinted windows; dogs in back. They were so used to trips out they would go to sleep as soon as we stopped. Came out of store and to car with shattered driver's window and snoring, sleeping dogs. So wish I could have seen the reaction of perp when snarling giants greeted him.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

My wife has a Kindle and "borrows" books from our public library for free all the time!

The Kindle Fire can do most online books. Have one and love it especially the price. Wi-fi internet is seriously fast; faster than my two 4g Mac notebooks. Seriously considering the 9.x KF with 4g and wi-fi.

Hours of reading is much less stressful for many hours using e-ink rather than tft but some Kindles are not back lit so need light. Can't beat the e-ink in bright outdoors sunlight though.

The screen resolution and color quality are amazing on even the non hd KF. Main ad antages of newest Kindle Fires are more onboard memory and camera on some plus more battery and faster charging. There are few Android applications that I haven't been able to use on 2011 KF.
