News update from the CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL;

JACK IS STILL SICK!

A nationwide manhunt, (womenhunt) is underway for the carrier. Suspect goes by the aliases of SASHWA and SASHIE. Suspect is considered germ laden and contagious, if seen, do not approach, sprat suspect with Lysol disinfectant and call authorities.

Long term prognosis for Jack is in doubt... in lieu of flowers please make a contribution to your local brothel, the economy depends on it.

My Chalice II from Davelog!

Plus some toys to try to keep me out of trouble, I guess...and a little rubber ducky for my baths...

he's so thoughtful:laugh:

Glad it got there safe and sound! You got a bonus because I was stuffing stockings while packaging up the Chalice for ya, and we had extra stuff because party favors come in packs of 8 and we had 7 stockings this year!

The daily fact coincidence was just that - a coincidence!

Good for you, Karen! :)

Don't forget that sometimes the nic isn't enough....It is a process. It took me 6 months to find the confidence to let go of the cigs. It make take him a while too. In hindsight, for me, it was just as much about the hardware as it was the juice. Eventually as my vaping set up (everything) changed, my need for smokes diminished and I ended up quitting. Some of it is juice and hardware specific and some of it is discipline. If he's having a hard time wrapping his head around it, suggest that he change his thought process from quitting smoking to changing his habit. Take the pressure off and celebrate the ones he's not smoking. You're doing a wonderful thing helping him through this, Karen :wub:

Sometimes it's all the other stuff they put in analogs that make it hard to quit. :(

I agree....actually, I'm sure that was the issue for me. I was so addicted to the other substances, I honestly didn't think I would survive a permanent quit. That was where the discipline came in to play. When I accidentally quit, I suffered through weeks of withdrawals...it was awful. And I KNOW I was getting plenty of nicotine....so what was causing me to feel so ill, so depressed, so awful? The discipline it took to keep true and vape when I needed too was not nearly as difficult as I thought it would be...but again, this is all in hindsight. Once you get past that part is when you sit back and say to yourself...gee, that was easy. But looking at it from the uphill side, it is downright terrifying. The single most problematic barrier I see for those attempting to make the transition is the fear of failure...looking up that hill and thinking there is no way they can make it, then lighting up a cig to help make themselves calm down. :facepalm:

Hey ~D~, my grand daughter, her boyfriend ( a keeper this time:) ), his bro and the girl friend, are going to NYC in a couple of days to celebrate my grand daughter's 21 st birthday and be in Times Square for New Years Eve.

I told her that if she sees Mariano or Jeter to give them a full mouth kiss for me.

I'm a Bostonian my mom is a Bostonian. And her whole life she's been a Yankees fan who is in love with jeter.

Thanks, Alice :blush: I've been thinking of making a smallish guide for noobs on the REO site. There are enough of them who start with the REO, who could really use some guidance in general vaping stuff.
