Getting started on my last day of the year. Have some smallish things to do, like sending out a broadcast email and wishing everyone a safe New Year and a better 2013. This time of year is always bitter sweet for me. Remembering the year as a whole and missing those who won't be joining us for yet another year. But the sweet part is that Hope overtakes my grief, tempers it, if you will. Hope fills my thoughts of the year to come and all it could bring. And finally Thankfulness....I am filled with grateful memories of kindnesses I have witnessed over the years, the blessings to have known so many wonderful people in my life (even those who are no longer part of this realm) and for my family both here in this house and in far off places. I wish everyone a wonderful 2013....onwards and upwards.
