Yours was the first one I made for the VV Grand with the larger button. All others I made didn't have that cut out. My VV Grand with the recessed button does not have a hole there. It works well without it. Now my pattern has the space to cut for the button.

I do make them with love and give them with love also!

slept all day so mines just starting i sure want my VVG back had to send it in for new button

Oh, and Kay even set it up for me to copy, and with extra wicks for when I am recovering from surgery so I won't have to try to make a coil for it!
