I have been an art student too, even though a little more in crafts (I'm supposed to be a goldsmith but it's a lie!!!) and scene setting...
art is something you live in here. can you imagine that I let my dog poop on an ancient roman villa ruins in my block's yard?
or that I drive through Ostia Antica's ancient port market every morning when I drive to my office?
or drinking water at a baroque water fountain and wash my feet in it when summer is very hot?
or walk under an old acquedotto to find some rest from the rain?
or sit and hang the bag on a statue?

living in beauty and history is food for soul and mind..

(pure landscapes are more a Tuscany thing)

Yes, I'm sure we are of like minds.
While I absolutely love where I live...surrounded by nature and all her glory no matter where I go...it is the aged lands that I yearn to see....Where people have been leaving foot prints for thousands of years. *sigh* Yes, for me...it would be fascinating. What I wouldn't give to be able to sit a draw the fantastic statues and buildings that stand right before me. Rome, Tuscany, Florence, Bologna....is it true they are building vertical forests in Milan???

Mornin REOville! Woke up late, ran around getting the house picked up before cleaning lady gets here, then she called and is afraid to drive with the slick streets, not a problem, so she will be here next week instead. Started working, and was only able to get 1 file, underwrote it and discovered it was a duplicate of one submitted and underwritten by someone else yesterday, so that was a waste. Now there are no files to pull, so I'm taking the rest of the day off.
Gil-Highbrow has some really nice flavors that might go well with BB, and I've never had a flavor from them that wasn't excellent. Maybe their Caramel or Creme Brulee would be nice. They have one called Vanilla Bean Decadence and a Vanilla Bourbon Bean that are both yummy. Their Highbrowbacco Clove mixed with BB might be a good one. Let us know what you come up with!
Ratman-so glad your wife is doing well, that has to be a very scary thing to go thru.

Morning everyone.

Realized last night I suffered a terrible loss at the hands of some ..... (myself).
I've lost every computer file I've ever saved in my life. I'm devastated to say the least. over 300 gigs of photos videos music TV shows and movies. When I realized I almost cried .... then I went to bed at 7:30 because I just couldn't think straight.

So my only option now is to actually format it (so it will load) and immediately run my drive forensic software on it. I can search sector by sector and bit by bit. I've done this several times before for other people (I was in computer forensic classes for two semesters a few years ago). I know how its going to work though. Its going to find 70-80% of my stuff but its a real mess to sort out. I loose all my ratings and playlists on iTunes .... all the pics get new file names and they will need to be sorted by hand it will take months to get close to anything as organized as I had it.

I'm still so stunned I can't even say im upset, I'm just disappointed in my decision making during the whole process. I know better but really cut some corners and it came back to bite my in the biggest way possible.

Oh well I can't turn back the clock.

OMG, Tim...I'm so sorry. I've done that...and now I'm feeling that I need to get off my .... and get a new external hard drive. If I lost everything, I'd be right where you're at...at a complete and utter loss of how to feel or react. (((Tim))) Unlike you, though, I'm sure I would cry.

I didn't get any response to my question yesturday so I'll give it another go...Im looking to change from my everyday juice which is a mix of AV BB and Lava Juice. Any one still vape AV BB and if so do you ever mix it with another flavor juice? I don't DIY so buying new flavors to test out can be a waste and costly.

I'm sorry Gil...I didn't respond because most folks don't like the juices that I do. And since I'm not a huge fan of BB, I figured I shouldn't put my 2 cents in. I wouldn't know where to begin anyways. VANILLA!!!

Hmmmm....I'm thinking something other than A fruity flavor, perhaps a vanilla. I have 100 mil bottles of BB and just looking for a change. Vendors sell different sample packs. perhaps that's my best bet.

Ya...they've got some good stuff. I really like the juice, but I can't deal with the price, which is why I went DIY. I've never had a vanilla that I've found I like better though.

Ugh I wanna slap my coworker up the side o the head. He is so useless today. Won't assist customers just stands and watches them. He already complained that I wasn't nice to him yet I've never said a bad word to him. Sometimes I don't talk to him because he pisses me off so much. He doesn't know how to work outside maybe he should be a retail sales person or something like that although he mumbles so maybe not. Don't know how some people get thru life.

I have two hard drives on this computer. It updates once a month and it stores at least the last six copies of all that is on the main one.
You could also just buy an external hard drive and back everything up on it.

Ya...I'm way too lax in backing up. I have an external hard drive...but it's small and old. My PC is bigger than it is by almost 3x. I really need at least a tb to store all my files for work. *sigh* I'll put it on my birthday wish list.

Oh and there is nothing wrong with retail sales. Just this feller doesn't know how to do the kind of work we do here. So please don't take offence to previous post retail etc people.
