Vampire-girl that I am, I'm still catching up....Jack may talk a good game, but I do believe that we have another lady-killer right here ^^:p. Sure, he says he doesn't have the time, but I'd bet dollars to donuts that Ed could tell of quite a long trail of broken hearts, especially doing all that riding into the rescue:laugh:...

Incurable romantic with a huge side order of RAWWWWRRRRR for what thats worth LMAO! And with that...dives behind the couch!!

In the land of no hills and red dirt
Just checkin' in....survived the hearing from Hell, me and the client limped out with most of our posteriors intact!

Got my serenity gear sleeve in. Geez, why didn't I get this before? Really attractive and protective (mod slides in and out easily, but shouldn't come out accidentally) and best of all, it smells like.........LEATHERRRRRR! (If you were thinking Jimmy Fallon's leather guy from SNL, good.)

Going to chauffer the boss on an errand sometime today, and hoping, just hoping Steph from OKC Vapes will give me a call and let me know the BF Fatty is ready to pick up!

I knew it, Ed! I knew it. It's always the ones who are quiet about it. I think Kay'll probably be a little better than I am getting a few more details about that RAWWWWRRRRR, though:laugh:! Not enough coffee in me to get officially out of lurker mode just yet. Kay gets to push her "The Real Us" thread a bit, so I'm gonna ask...why aren't more of you posting some favorite songs over it the Reonaut tunes thread? Love to get to know people through the music they hold dear.

Since I have notice a lot of songs posted in the lounge I thought people would have embraced that music thread which is why I dug it back up. ;)

Afternoon everyone. Been trying out the Nitcore i4 charger for the last 3 days. What a nice piece 4 bays any type or size you can dream up with NO spacers. I've been using 350's 500's and 650's as of late and the Qty of batts I was using plus the hassle of spacers made me purchase the Nitcore. Every bay is charging right to 4.20 (Doohicky verified) My Pila was always 4.18 and my Xtar 4.16 that extra .2 or .4 volts is going to come in handy on the first 3 pulls :D

And did I mention NO spacers ?? No more retrieving them when the Xtar spring shoots them across the room. Look out 1/2 aluminum projectile headed your way.

It seems to amaze me that people actually recommend the Xtar. I got the Nitecore and never looked back. Plus it comes with the car adapter, which appealed to me and my back up plans.

Sashie, pretty neat gizmo fer the dog. Talk about a happy critter. Alas, only wads of money shooting outta that thing would make my DW that happy :D

Gonna try and extract my tax info wirelessly and send to new pc today. USB ports shot to hell and dvd burning a no go too :(

Happy Napping Day.....wish I had some time fer that.

You'd think that if he was smart enough to build that he would have been smart enough to buy a dog with legs.

Good morning Reonuts.

Read a couple articles this morning of states attempting to raise revenue by taxing vaping equipment and supplies. New Mexico is proposing a 53% tax and Minnesota is proposing up to a 95% tax.

As with another commodity that is prominently in the news uncertainty breeds fear and fear leads to increased prices and shortages. I.E. the uncertainty of proposed gun laws has resulted in a drastic price increase of certain guns, (and to a somewhat lesser extent guns across the board), and to shortages. Correspondingly ammunition and ammunition components, (ammunition reloading supplies), are undergoing historic shortages and price increases.

Those of us who have made the transition from cigarettes to vaping and experienced the benefits will probably find a way to continue to do so. We may not feed our adoptive hobby of buying as many new mods, instead convincing ourselves that our current collection will have to do. We may accelerate our schedule of reducing our nic content due to price or lack of availability but in the end most of us will find a way to adapt to restrictive conditions and continue with our vaping.

But that is us, what about those who have not yet made the transition? For most of us who were heavy smokers, (I was a 2 1/2 PAD smoker), the drastically reduced cost of vaping over smoking was an attractive allure. (Theoretically that still holds true, realistically mods are like Lays Potato Chips, ya can't eat just one... nor can you own less than a room full of mods.)

If through a prohibitive tax structure by states and yet to be determined oversight by the FDA will prospective vapers weigh the pros and cons and come to the conclusion that making the transition is both cost prohibitive and fraught with government controls that they are not willing to contend with?

One might even ask one's self if the government's vociferous desire to reduce smoking is mere lip service that is overshadowed by their desire to collect taxes through the sale of cigarettes and vaping supplies.

Okay, I'll take my cynical little self and go sit in the corner... but I'm gonna be vaping while I do it.

Did I say good morning?
