Hello Nauts,
Must've been in struck by the REO pandemic last night and ordered me a new mod. Jus' couldn't wait fer a koa woody any longer, may the Hawaiian gods ferever fergive me. And since my color of choice was available I went ahead and placed the order. It was a long drawn out process with periods of extended contemplation. Took me about 2 hrs before eventually the hitting the complete payment button on PayPal. Gonna have to sit back and do the waiting thingy till it gets here so I hope nut to go completely loco before then. DW doesn't know yet too, so hoping my soon to be birthday will smooth things over and help keep her in check. Nut that money is tight but nut knowing how much a new house is gonna cost is weighing heavily on us.
I think most of you can guess what I bought so I won't belabor you all with the details

Congrats to Rob on two beautiful new cars. Is the Sonata a hybrid? Does Hyundai still have the 100k miles warranty? What's the mpg fer Julie's car? Reason fer asking is my son here needs a more gas friendly car and my son in LA also looking. Usually buys lexus/toyotas here cept fer my DW's benz which has given us nutting but heartaches....don't wanna make a mistake like that again

Well, I already have a name fer it. Gonna call her PPP as in Precious Pretty Purple. Metallic purple/metallic purple VVG. So I had to order new batts too since I had none of the 350's. Now looking fer a tip to match, atop my reomizer or the black A7's I got on order from the co-op. I wanna keep costs down fer the moment so no TT will werk

aside from the TT i like the super shorty tips for the A7s and they are pretty cheap

The pandemic is strong here in Texas today also. I just finished rubbing down my Cocobolo VVW, and taking pictures in order to fund some of that pretty new metal. Seeing Jan's white/pink in her avie this morning threw me right over the edge. That yellow has caught my eye too. Or orange. Thanks good buddy. If you have the SS tip thats listed last (HDV) can you tell me if its round or oval at its narrowest point, guess maybe what you might call the neck.

Speaking of doohickys...My BF made me this ohm meter to measure the length of Kanthal because my multimeter jumps all over the place and nevers settles down on a reading. He soldered two wires with alligator clips to the pos and neg of a garbage ss carto. You screw the carto into a mod that displays ohms and attach the alligator clips to the Kanthal to get a more accurate reading. Now I don't have to guess.

Are the tips round with a small head? Hope nobody thinks we talking body parts
Reason I'm asking is because I hold my Reo in every position possible 'cept fer upside down and irregular heads of tips bug me enuf that I don't use them.
