I don't know about Becky, but for me it is only 2 - 3 hours. So I sleep some in the middle of the night, and some in the middle of the morning and try to nap in the middle of the afternoon. The leg is just too darned uncomfortable to let me sleep longer than a few hours, and if I take a pain pill I don't sleep at all. Catch 22. Which is why I was here around midnight, and back now around 4 am.

I found a new show though, Dr Pol. It's about a vet, both large and small animals. I record shows on the universe and geology, etc. to lull me to sleep. I have a few favorites on geology that sometimes take me days to watch because I always fall asleep in the first 15 minutes! The narrator and the music on those things knocks me out.

We seem to keep the same hours. I wemt to sleep @12:30am and its 4:15am now:blink: Ambien, valium and Vicodin don't seem to help. Maybe because of our similar injuries. :(

Morning REOville

Morning REOville

Last night my woman told me her coworkers cat is on vicodin because of oral surgery which I'm sorry but thats rediculous imo. The only thing I could say is if the cat gets carried away with the painkillers & catnip, we're gonna have to stage an intervention

Mornin REOville! Sounds like some of you had a crazy party up in here last night! It's Friday!!! Maybe next week I'll be back on schedule, stupid daylight savings time. Forecast is for snow today, don't know how much, long as I can get to the grocery store I'm OK with that. Hope all are well, I need to hit the shower before I start work. Have a great Friday!

Just rushing through on my way to take little Sister to the doctor. (ear infection, as usual) Mom is back home, and is to discontinue using the new blood pressure med and see her doc on Monday. Thanks for all the well wishes, I was exhausted by the time I got home and just fell into the bed.

Sorry I missed the party.....Happy (belated) Birthday, Lisa!!!

Hope everyone has a nice day!

Good morning everyone and not only is it Friday, it's pool day!!!!!

So CULz!!!

I may be new but I didn't think jj was a person, thought she was a music bot on account of the sheer number of music videos she posts. Hmm, come to think of it, maybe it is a bot with a little human greeting program

EDIT: I would send her a friends request because I dig her taste in music but beckyblue is already a friend so between the two I think my iPad would overheat

Wow speedy turnaround. And Good Morning Sweetie. :)

I think I was up three times last night. Reading on here, and getting sleepy enough to go back to bed. I finally did my morning greeting and went back to bed.

Now I am up! I saw that you were out and about sooner than you expected. And also that you didn't get to sleep first.

Will see you later when you get some sleep and pop in!

Much better for you than a drug huh.

Have a chat with a friend Friday!
I bet that pic wasn't easy to find. I live about 3 miles outside of town in the middle of nothing but farms.

If we knew then what we know now, we would have used gas stations as the backdrop in our childhood photographs just to reflect what kinda time it was. In another social thread I briefly talked about the price of cigarettes when we first started smoking (99 cents for me), then gas prices. This photo made me think of that. Since I started smoking before I could drive, I don't remember what the gas prices were except it was double digits, so under a buck.

First pack of smokes I ever bought myself was 68 cents (Lucky Strikes) and it was at a Shamrock station next door to an arcade called Shenanigan's that I used to hang out at because they had a Tunnel Hunt machine and a cool checkered carpet. Shenanigan's was a converted Dairy Queen.

Amazing how I can remember stuff like that, but couldn't tell you what I had for dinner 2 nights ago. Age sucks.

You start to lose hair in places you had it and growing it in places ya didn't. I'll be sentenced to 40 in five years so I'm due for a mid-life crisis. ;)

Lots and lots of pics of farm land! Very pretty too! Tried to get something that was recognizable and not just one building!
