Just dropped the hammer on another VVG. Black Wrinkle/Silver Vein. I blamed the purchase on the upcoming Apocalypse. Also bought a hickory heart Master cane from Canemasters. Apocalype also! Takes around 2 months to create those. Good day though.

I sat straight up panicked this morning with a thought I was late for work... only to find out it was 4:30 in the morning. That sucked as of course I was wide awake after that. But I guess I went back to sleep pretty fast, but when that alarm went off I grumbled. I realized I only work half day but it's because of the dentist. A day of ups and downs I guess.

Good morning Reonuts and welcome to the Denver, Richie Brother's Heavy Equipment Auction in Beautiful Longmont, Colorado. (Yeah, I know, they call it the Denver auction but it's 40 miles north of Denver in Longmont. Go figure.
First up this morning will be a Caterpillar 657G scraper.Perfect forRoger while he's on his spring hiatus. During his off time he can go ahead and construct a new Interstate across the country. (If he's smart he'll make it a tollroad.) $100,000 to $160,000 should be able to buy it. Put it on your reward card so you get those free flyer miles.
Later on we'll be featuring a very nice Caterpillar 345 CL excavator... a handy piece of equipment indeed when the mother-in-law just won't shut the hell up.
Since this entire organization is non-smoking, (although the diesel smoke surrounding the outside looks like Los Angeles on a really bad day), I am forced to stealth vape by exhaling under my table. Not a problem though, I just tell management I'm looking for loose change.
Well, time to refill the coffee cup and go check on a few pieces of equipment. Maybe I'll bid on a wood chipper just in case one of the ex-wives decides she wants to come back.

Son works for the company. He helps design the engines that go into them. Also helps figure where things have to go so no one can find them.

Luckily I don't have to actually operate them other than checking out their condition by squashing small inattentive animals and illegally parked pickup trucks. I just wait until somebody buys them then inform them that it's going to cost more than they paid for the equipment to actually move it across the country.

Mornin REOville! Woke up on time again, 2 days in a row, go me! Jack, there are a couple of grown men I would also love to make cry, no names, just the thought. Supposed to be sunny with lots of melting snow today and forecast for the week shows that after tonight/tomorrow morning, nothing freezing or below for the next 7 days, sunshine will be wonderful.
