Thanks for the help everyone. Sadly, no luck here. I'm on an ipad and even though I see the drop down menu for colors, it doesn't add the color after I click it. But bless you for trying to help. I apologize for wasting posts with this sorta thing, too.

Try highlighting the words you wanna change colors. I don't know if you can do that on ipad though. Have you tried Tapatalk HD? It's made for tablets and might make it a little easier.

You won't see the color, you will see [color] [color]with your text in between. When you post the color shows.

And by that same token, you can manually type out the tags instead of using the buttons if you're on a limited function device like a phone or something.

[ color=blue]this is some blue text![/color] will make the text blue.

Also, if you know hex notation for colors, you can get a broader spectrum of colors like:

[ color=#0000ff]this is some more blue text![/color]

For whatever reason, the <code> box on ECF still renders tags, so when using the above examples, take that space out of the opening (first) color tag.

I love BBQ but I'm a 'yankee' and we love everything cooked well-done. I got a buddy down south who used to say, "Just wipe its ...., send it to the table, I'll eat what I want and ride the rest home"

GOOD MORNING REOVILLIANS!

There is no such thing as BBQ rare or well done. BBQ is low and slow, takes hours and hours, and the meat will be cooked through. You do not order BBQ how you like it? Even a damn yankee should have the rudimentary knowledge of what BBQ is. You probably wouldn't have to tell a southerner though, they understand the concept of BBQ.

When you GRILL meat it is not BBQ, and is done over a high heat for a short period of time. You would then tell whoever is grilling your meat how you want it cooked, for example, well done or medium rare. Hamburgers, nasty tube meat and steaks etc are grilled and not BBQ'd. So most people who have "BBQ's" are really just grilling.

good morning EVERYONE....arrived in florida last night....but its not that warm here(better then ny)....only gonna be in the 60's today...so no beach....my niece is letting me use her computer...but the one rule is "NO PORN"....so if NUTZ comes on i have to get off!!

Ya'll probably put beans in your chili too.

There are no beans in chili? That would be strange? Who would do something like that? Sometimes I put carne in my chili though. But then that would be chili con carne now wouldn't it? My favorite is chili verde, and I like to serve it with chicken or pork. If I do a red chili I usually will use beef and NEVER ground. That would be sacrilege to use ground beef or beans in chili. Yankees probably do that, they try to order their BBQ well done

I may not really BBQ, and always use ground beef in my chile along with beans, but I DO vape from Wood REO's!!!
