Spring is upon us (supposed to be anyway) and soon gardening and the like will once again occupy some of your time. Sears got this water hose (no, nut pocket hose) on sale fer today/online only (you can order now and pickup in store later too) Craftsman 5/8 in. x 100 ft. All Rubber Hose - Lawn & Garden - Watering, Hoses & Sprinklers - Garden Hoses Reg $60, sale $33, free ship over $59. If I ever wanted a 100 footer this would be it.
Btw, house inspector made DW a very sad puppy yesterday. So many issues, my head is still spinning. Gonna ask for a better price and see what seller says. Like I said before "money pit", thinking minimum $50k to get it decent looking, secure and legal. I will also need a very good watch dog (front and back doors screen type, kitchen window screen w/ wood lattice, bathroom windows only screened, window a/c in bedroom removed and only screened). This house is like a big tent!!!

Norman get yourself a black lab pit bull cross ya get the loyalty of a lab and the toughness of the pit all rolled into one.

My last lab pit x would kill rats better than any cat. She would go thru walls to get the critters. Toughest dog I've ever met. Not real big but tough stubborn never gave up on anything. If she couldn't go thru something shed go under over or around it. Shed go thru windows to get intruders take them off their feet and drag them to me. 75 pound dog dragging a 200 lb man to her owner now that still brings a smile to my face

My friend's got a lab, dobie x so your dog would be like this on steroids. Very strong, aggressive but good w/ family. Wish I could get pups

She was an amazing family dog. She'd follow dd all over the place and look after her. Not incredibally affectionate but very loyal. Simba has some of the same traits but he's a big sap. Very protective of Gatlin tho even tho he doesn't really like kids. Last few weeks he has started to interact with Gatlin some so it's looking good.

Yep. I love my labs but with the health issues they get it seems the mixes are better for lack of vet bills and longevity. Simba is weird because he is lab wolf cross so kinda has the wild man thing going which has its benefits and drawbacks. So long as they are black and look mostly lab I'm happy. My dogs need to be black as all my cloths are tuned towards black dogs

Justice, you a good man to have your boy raised around these kinds of dogs. I even heard studies that say pets can help heal the sick. Judging by the smile on your boys face I can tell he's the pack leader of the bunch.

You do remember saying that you were hoping the inspector would find problems like these because YOU didn't want the house? Are you being objective or just settling now that things are in the works and there may be a bit of excitement over it? Remember, this is a HUGE investment.

Went skydiving with a lady friend this morning. We each planned on three jumps and the first two went beautifully... the third, not so much.
Did a 63 second free-fall, (gorgeous weather, gorgeous view), but just after deploying my drone chute the shock of the main chute filling dislodged my Reo Koa from my shirt pocket. It made an unplanned free-fall of over 3,000 feet and landed on the hood of the only car parked near the side of the landing zone.
I wonder how good Rob is at reconstructing splinters and dust?
