Don't know if this is the correct place to ask this but this is where I can always find those that I know on this forum. I Finally have a VV Reo Grand on it's way! Yippee I also have 2 ERA's and a Hornet on it's way. I am a newbie and need to know what exactly else I need to purchase. An ohm meter, wire, wick etc. I will be using these rba's on my Reo Grand and VV Reo Grand vaping Bobba's Bounty mainly. Hoping I purchased the correct items. Are there different era's and hornets to be used on bottom feeders? When they come is there supposed to be the hole on the bottom right? I thought I had seen where people drill a hole in some but may not have been on these. Hope I am not asking dumb questions. Please bear with me! So I will need some expert advise on what gauge wire, wicking, etc to purchase. Also if anyone knows of any good video tutorials I would love the link. If not my have to wait to use these till I can make a trip to visit oldbroad! Snow is just melting way to slowly to wait! Thanks for any help!

Hi my name is Pietro and you have definitely picked some of the best vaping gear there is! So for the additional items you should get I would recommend one of these when they come back in stock but a multimeter will do the same job a variety of Kanthal A1 wire in different gauges is nice to have ebay best place to find them I personally use mainly 30awg because its thicker and holds up better I get mine here and I use 3mm silica for wick but I'm sure others will chime in with other recommended wicking materials and lastly the drilling your speaking of is the side air hole on the stock ERA's and Hornets are really small so most of us have drilled said holes out to 1/16" which is pretty airy but I got used to it and actually prefer it now there is 1 size smaller then that but can't remember it right now hope this helps

Time for some sleep for me good night Reopeeps:)

Hi Cheri :)
I'm sure there are lots of videos for coil & wick building, but here is one Rob did.

Yes the RBAs need to have holes in the bottom for juice feeding. However, when you hear about folks drilling holes, most times, they're talking about boring out the air holes on the side to make them more airy.

And the only dumb questions are the kind that remain unasked. ;)

PS...don't rush this. I really recommend you get comfortable with using your mod before jumping in the RBA game. Take your time, and keep your atties or cartos nearby in case you get frustrated. It's totally okay to put the RBAs down and walk away for a bit.

hi there Lisa did you have a fun easter ?

Hi Scott :)
I'm not sure I would call it fun per se. It was rather quiet. I did go see my mom and really enjoyed actually having a conversation with her today. She was bright eyed today and seemed genuinely happy to see me. She even recognized some of the chocolates I brought her....it was her memory engaged...and that was touching for me. A memory I will carry with me for years to come.

Wow this is what I LOVE about these forums. Everyone is so good to help me out! Thank You to all for the info and support. I do have plenty of attys to keep me going until I get the hand of the RBA. But I did screw up and one of the ERA's I have on it's way is not for a bottom feeder. :( I am to afraid to try to drill it so I will see if I can try to trade it for the correct one. As far as batteries Sterno I have several AW IMR 18650's and a good battery charger. Also the doohickie I got from you. Just need to get an ohm meter. Website sold out at this time. Still need to get the correct wire and wicking though.

Drilling out the center post on the RBAs would be a challenge for sure. I really would recommend keeping it in tact and either use it as a dripper on another device or see if you can trade it for the BF equivalent in the classies.
