Looks like I may be moving soon folks, well hopefully by summer anyway. Seller agreed to price reduction we were after but paperwork forthcoming in the morn. DW is happy, I'm satisfied that she's happy.....guess thats what counts. Hopefully the construction be over and done with real quick. Long as I have my REOs and chocolate, there's little else I need.

"Chocolate hangover" is that aka constipation? My dad used to swear thats the reason he quit eating it. LOL, guess he should've drink beer like me, then everything be coming out anyways from the....I mean in the end. Wonder if Jack is like my dad, maybe I should send him a package of the stuff. Nah, he'd never give me his addy, be scared stiff that his koa be disappearing soon thereafter. ;)

Oh yeah, my son may bring home a dog  He showed me a pic and it looked more like a rat. Dang, I bet if I cooked it up Ed could finish that thing in one sitting.. I was hoping for something a lot bigger but maybe its got a BIG bark and make up for what he lacks in size. Hehe, at least I can leave the doggie signs up when I move into the money pit, hope the rat don't break down the front door.

It's okay...you're under no pressure to chat. Take your time and talk when you feel like it. :)

Amen sister lisa, that's what I like about folks around these parts of ecf, they don't mind if you take your time. They don't make you feel committed to chat everyday to be 'one of us' and above all, everyone gets help equally when they have a problem, nobody plays favorites, nobody goes to the top of the list. The more I got to hang around here the more I realized there is no list.

You know, when the sane folks of reoville wake up and read this they should be reminded that there spirit reaches out and touches some of us in the most unlikely ways. Through wisdom and experience topped with some levity they make all the difference to those of us still fighting our way to retirement.

Case in point, when I came across wild bill's 3 years smokefree success story, it really gave me hope that even though three years is a lifetime away for some, it really puts into perspective of how strong the human spirit is to overcoming...

I have no greater respect than to those who have overcome sadness, loss, anxiety, despair, temptation...
You know the old saying when life hands you lemons you make lemonade, here in reoville I think an addendum to that is when life hands you lemons you get some tequila and salt. I bet jack would take it a step further with if life hands you lemons you squirt them in the eyes wit it. But I think you get the point.

It's true, I haven't met any of you in real life, nor traveled on the rocky roads a few of you have but at the end of the day each and everyoneof us is looking for the same thing. I hope you all find peace.

And so as this benedryl is kicking in I say one thing to you, may peace be with you all.

Good morning Reo-nuts! Winter has returned chance of snow next two days. Only have to worry about half my accounts now, lost the rest so i guess thats a silver lining.
Morning Karen, Becky, Nutz and all the lurkers!

Morning Ed, we got a light dusting last night also, but it's almost over! You still have all your landscaping accounts, I hope?

We know how hard and diligent you work, so I can only think that the accounts that left you are going to be unhappy when they realize you went above and beyond. And guess what? You will have the option of taking them back or not, because as hard as you work, you may not want to have that many next year anyway!

Morning, REOnauts!

Today's fact! Bubble Wrap was originally intended to be wallpaper!

So, I have to do a stress test with my cardiologist this afternoon. I'm a little freaked out by it, I've been told that every once and a while people die during stress tests. I have no doubt that I'll survive the ordeal (and won't enjoy it one bit) but on the outside chance that I don't, I just wanna say that the REOnauts are the salt of the earth and that interacting with you all has been just as pleasurable and rewarding as vaping on a REO itself.

It sounds like I'm gonna have to work some exercise equipment to get my heart rate up to something crazy like 150bpm, so they can observe how quickly my normal heartbeat recovers. There's supposed to be a dye injection in there somewhere too. I've been trying not to think about it so I'm a little sketchy on the details.

Morning sweet Kay. Yes out of the 12 commercial accounts I had, I lost 3. Funny thing, everyone else sent me stipends because of the blizzard, but i lost 3 who are managed by the same property manager. I didnt really get along with her so I think she just used the blizzard as an excuse to get someone who would be firmly attached to her ...! It will hurt my bottom dollar but next Spring I will replace them. All contracts have already been signed for this year grrrrr! Wish I had known they were gonna do that to me but...
