Thank you! Thanks, Jeni... when it rains it pours. Back still hurting (well really legs, toes and shoulders but it all stems from the back), car broke down and woke up with a sore throat. Just got off the phone with Dad to postpone trip until at least next weekend.

I seldom venture outside of REOvill and the classies, but I today I notice, in the liquid feed APV forum that there's a tomzgreat doing a review of his wood box and basically dissin on Rob and calling REO's "mass produced metal boxes" with a lame warranty. I started to draft a reply but thought I would let it ride for now. You should check it out...

I decided to let it ride, too... He wants a box, and wants to Squonk... it's his own loss to not go with a REO.
I'm not seeing anything about a lame warranty. I would have to comment on that.
He seems to be under the impression that Rob doesn't make woodvils any more and that the metals are mass produced. If they were, I would not be having any trouble finding the colors I want and could just go get one from Rob. For a while I couldn't even find one, so gave up and was only looking in the classies. Come to find out he does put them up on the site. I wanted new, and thought you had to be "in" with Rob to get one so maybe he is under the same false impression. Perhaps someone should call him out on this? I am not educated on REO's enough yet to do it or I would.
My read on it is he seems to have a sense of entitlement and was actually fishing for a deal or expecting something. JMO

I vote with my dollars. That guy sounds disenfranchised. Hope Tom knows there is plenty of room for everyone and no bashing is required. The good products rise to the top.

I decided not to buy the VV Reo Grande because I’ve had/seen interaction with the owner and just haven’t been favorably impressed. I’m not saying anything bad about him and his service has an excellent reputation, but he just seems a little full of himself [Possibly Deservedly So]
Not really my style but I think I'm gonna bite my tongue on this one people like this tend to make me say things that will earn me a timeout.
