Kay I had seen that about you going downstate. I had asked where abouts. Maybe you did not get or see the post. I will come up there before you leave. Do you have any idea when? Depending where you go maybe we would actually be closer. As far as jumping in with two feet...well I bought a VV Reo Grand and it came with the ERA. And I was planning on getting one eventually. So worked out for me if I can master rebuilding. LOL

It'll be thr Flint/Davison area.

Hey Val

Did they have to put metal bars in your leg and if so are they planning to remove them? I just got back from xrays and seeing the oth surgeon and he told me there in for good and he won't be even removing the screws unless an issue should arise. :( I guess Im doomed to setting off airport metal detectors from now on. :)

I had wires, but they were poking the underside of a nerve so the 2nd surgery was to "snip" one of them. Nerve pain like that is excruciating and no pain killer on earth could touch that! Then a while later I had 3 more spots where it would poke out the underside of my skin if I bent my knee to much, so I could never bend it enough to even drive. So the 3rd surgery was to remove them, a year after they put them in. I was "symptomatic" in the extreme! The 4th was to remove the huge bone spur that grew from the irritation of wires every time I moved my leg, and had they looked for it would have found it before my 3rd surgery. Looking back, what they thought was arthritis they can now see was the spur. By the time they listened to my complaints, it was 20% the size of my kneecap. Whatever could go wrong, did.

Some people don't respond like I did though, and the metal does its job just fine. I still have a tiny bit of metal in there and it is embedded in the bone so to go in and remove it would be worse than leaving it in. I have no problems with it, and it wasn't even enough to bother an MRI.

Yours is probably there to hold everything together and won't need to come out. Have fun at the airports

Been lurking and reading tonight in my pjs. I got vapemail from unsure. Awesome. I can't wait to send Gil back something. I also put in for notification for the black wrinkle with metallic red door grand. I know it isn't the vv but I am collecting up. That black wrinkle just looks so sweet. and if it works out as well as it did last time. I will be able to get it when it becomes available. Honestly if I had it I might part with a silver bullet, except that is one of my desk mods.
Can't beat a mini reo in my pocket though... :D Oh and reading the vapemeet thread. Too fun!

I got my REOmiser! What I don't understand about it is that the wick doesn't go into a cup like with the A7. So how is the juice supposed to hit the wick since the wick is so far above the hole that feeds the juice and there are no "legs" on the wick to scoop up the juice that leaks over?

did you get a reomizer v1 or v2 ?

Val, after you squonk to get the juice in the bottom part, put the cap back on , push the button and draw on the DT. The suction draws the juice up onto the wick.

And you don't hit the bottle as long cuz there's no overflow in the base, about 1 1'2 to 2 seconds at most.

You'll get the hang of it soon and know just how much to squonk.

I used to think all you Reo fanatics were a bit OCD, well actually a lot OCD, so I decided to purchase a Mini V2.1 off the classified to see if everything was true or if you were all a bunch of whack-jobs. Well, suffice to say that I have big plans for this Mini when I'm taking long road trips on my HD this summer. This thing is a biker's unicorn. I @#$%ing love it!!

I got rid of Charter cable and got Direct Tv a few days ago...I'm going back to Charter:laugh: satellite seems to be at least 60% infomercials, I found about 12 channels out of app. 200ish worth watching! And i don't care for the format at all. But I can make and receive calls on my new phone now, lol.

Hi MaDeuce! Welcome! Actually, you are right, the majority of us ARE whack-jobs, but that's why this is such a fun place...not to mention a veritable font of all Reo related info. And lots of unrelated info as well!

Does this indecisiveness accompany you to the southern portion of the country or is it a cold climate phenomenon? When it comes time for the Ardmore get-together to decide where to go for a meal please keep my short life expectancy in mind.

Example: I'll only accept the very best..thus five husbands...which i think you can relate to as you've been thru three wives, lol. And if the restaurant isn't within a half hour radius i'm not going..my life expectancy is shorter even than yours!
