Looks like the Waco fertilizer explosion was worse than we thought.

• Two EMS personnel and three firefighters died in the blast
• At least 160 have been injured 5-15 thought dead.
• The blast registered as a magnitude 2.1 earthquake, sending a shockwave 80 miles out
• The fire is still burning, though under control now

It's a fluid story, there are going to be updates and how to help stuff on my stations website soon.

Mornin REOville! Well, won't have stuff done around my house for a few more weeks, the floors I want had to be ordered and take about 10 business days to get in. Oh well. Got my nails done yesterday, they match my Metallic Red 18490!
Hope some of our Texas friends post soon, that explosion in West TX was horrific, hoping none of our friends are in that danger zone. Becky-That is one of my all time favorite music videos, just makes me happy. Here's to a good Thursday for everyone!

Alice beat me to it....I also think most of us Texan REOnauts were out of harms way. Left the tv on last night and woke up in the wee hours to such sad and horrible news.

How are you doing Jen??
 I'm hanging in there, Kay. I've seen better days though.

Good morning, REOvil! Finally looks like it might rain here. Great day for reading and snuggling poodles. One dog has exactly half of a haircut and I should finish it, but it's going to have to wait. Poor thing, she looks a mess.

Good morning :)

Well we got rain and rain and rain. Even got hail yesterday. 8-o

Glad I don't have to worry about it too much but because of this storm many places are flooded and it's not over yet.

And sorry don't mean to be ignoring you all. Got a RW project going on that is keeping me busy so I'm doing the basics around here and trying to keep up a little here and there.

Good morning, Reonuts. Our four straight days of snow are officially over. Woke up to 6 degrees and a bright blue, cloudless sky. Made the mistake of going dancing last night, (had Wednesday night group lessons so pretty much had to be there but only about 30 people showed up, usually we have at least 3 times that number).

The weather had said that the snow was supposed to have stopped in Denver by 4PM... yeah, right. When I left here it was snowing like crazy, when I got down to Denver it was snowing like crazy and when I left the club at 11:30 PM it was still snowing like crazy but the roads had turned into a solid sheet of ice. Coming back up the mountains, especially through the canyon was a bit challenging, too me right at 2 hours to go 35 miles. I'm thinking of trading in one of the trucks on a Zamboni machine. At least we taking care of some of our severe drought conditions.

Looking forward to today and tomorrow's mail. Waiting on 2 Killer, rba's, silver, NR wire, DIY stuff from High Desert Vapes and 10, Magpul, 30 round, AR-15 magazines. Yeah... I'm one of those people. (Magpul is running a special deal just for Colorado residents before they move their entire manufacturing operations out of the state because of the new magazine capacity limitation recently passed. That's costing Colorado more than 200 jobs.)

For those Reonuts who are being inundated by rain... buy sponges, lots and lots of sponges.

Everyone have a good day.

Since my PT is at 3 pm today, and my brothers come over for dinner tonight, I put a pork shoulder in the crockpot last night on low and let it go. I just put some salt, pepper, garlic and half a bottle of newkies in it. I just dumped the juice, fat and bone and shredded it. I threw in some BBQ sauce, and it is going to stay in the refrigerator marinating for a few hours until I put it back on low around 2 before I leave. It is going to be so good, if what I tasted while shredding and spicing is any indication. I just forgot the rolls to put it on so need to get those

DH got some potato salad (guess where from?) and some green beans to go on the side. Easy peasy and oh so good! DH will be able to finish it up since I will most likely be in no shape to stand around doing anything after the mean old PT gets done with me.

I am planning being on drugs again. At least I had a few days of freedom and got to go out by myself. I anticipate pain pills being back in my life for a while. Yesterday I had lunch with a friend, and when I got up to leave could barely walk the pain was so bad. But after I got going it settled down to a tolerable level where I wasn't suppressing a scream with every step. My friend even commented I had a high pain tolerance, though at the time it surely didn't feel like it! The pain just knocks the wind right out of me sometimes, and literally stops me in my tracks.

So I guess this is a warning, I will be on drugs later so forgive me in advance!

Good Thursday morning everyone, I hope you all are having a safe and happy week away from all the craziness that is going on. I seriously wonder what's going to happen next since everything always happens in 3. My heart is heavy for all that have been affected by the events going on in Boston and Waco. Kudos to the IRS (yea a gov't agency actually showed a heart) for granting all those in Suffolk County, MA where Boston is, an automatic 3 month extension on their taxes.

I received my VVG back from Robert yesterday and it didn't take me long to keep the button top of mind. :D Without thinking I threw the mod in my pocket like I always do and damn near burned my lips off when I went to vape it. :) I now make sure to take the time to turn the unit off before doing anything with it. :D

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

YIPPEE KIYAY sounds like it could almost be another pseudonym for you, Kay:laugh:! That is TOO funny that you absconded with Nurz' picture. No need to be schooled, new guy (but just check out the Reos Mods sub-forum, directly clickable just to the left of this thread).

Oh goodie! I hadn't realized that! I'm gonna go change my name again!I like YIPPEE KIYAY!
