Good morning REOpeeps! I have no idea why I am awake this early, but figure I will sleep in later so wanted to let you all know that today is:

*Kindergarten Day: Kindergarten Day

*National Chocolate-covered Cashews Day

For those of you in Texas, it is San Jacinto Day: San Jacinto Day in United States

Hope everyone has a great day! I am going to see if DH wants to take me to brunch later so I can blow my diet :D

Good afternoon feeder, have you ever been to usa? Would you like to visit one day and if so, where?

Afternoon RHP, never been to the states, I don't tend to go abroad, used to when I was younger, but tend not to bother now, I've got a handicapped grandson, & the last couple of years, I've been in Majorca, an island off Spain, with my daughter, & family, to help with the little one, cos he's a handful.
Regarding the states, I've always wanted to visit the Alamo, suppose it comes with growing up watching cowboy films, starring the likes of John Wayne

Thanks for including noalax in my care package, I never had any before because the threads on my provari's have been buttery smooth from day 1

You also need to do the maintenance on the ProVari, you need to clean and noalox the firing pin. There are instructions somewhere on the Provape site, but I take rubbing alcohol on a long q-tip to clean it, then put on the noalox. I have never put it on the threads of the ProVari, only the cheapo chinese ones.

Same for the REO's, in fact Rob includes it with them just for that reason. I keep my pins clean and noalox'd on all my PV's. In fact, I just tuned up my workhorse metal REO last night. :vapor:

Then you would most likely enjoy Old Tucson where a lot of the movies were filmed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Tucson, in Arizona?

Yes it is. Old Tucson is the movie sets that they turned into a guest park. They still film there on occasion. It has the sets and history of the movies, and the employees dress in period costumes and have shows (they have shoot outs, the bar has the dancing girls, etc). Also in Arizona is Tombstone where the famous shootout at OK Corral and they also have history and shows. Much better than visiting just the Alamo

I'd also like to visit the likes of the soux nation, I once had a dog, that I called shunka luta, which as far as I can make out, is red dog, in the soux language, it was a red boxer dog
One of the best books I've ever read, was about wounded knee

That's up in S. Dakota, and the natives were Lakota. They have native Americans in Arizona too, Navajo and some others

Mornin REOville! So glad ECF is running smooth today. Went with my BFF so she could get a new phone yesterday, spent 3 hrs at Cricket picking one out and getting it set up for her. She had an old flip phone, and went to a smartphone. She has been sending me instant messages all evening and then this morning trying to figure it all out. She hasn't been able to afford much, but always wanted a smart phone. This week she got a check back from the mortgage co from when she lost her house 3 years ago, and she got a raise and they had to retro it back to January so she got a check for that. She was able to pay her Federal Taxes owed and her auto ins and had enough left over to get a nice phone, so it was fun seeing her be able to spend a little on herself. Mom's laundry is in the machine, need to get her meds ready and get going for my morning visit. Have a great Sunday all!!

Hey Reo-Gangsters! Have a wonderful Sunday. Hoping everyone can have a nice relaxing Sunday. Weather here is sunny but chilly. I'm off to try to make it look like I did some work at some Doctor's properties but since I have no funds for mulch I dont think they will be impressed. Such is life!
