Mornin REOville! Not much going on here, they are calling for possible ice pellets and snow today, but it is supposed to start getting warmer tomorrow and the weekend is looking pretty good. It's been fairly warm so hoping the streets don't get dangerous.
Jen, so sorry you won't be able to go to the REO spectacular, hope you aren't suffering too badly. Pietro, congratulations on finding a house (or two)! Best of luck to you on getting the one you want! And you too Nutz! It is probably for the best that you weren't able to get financing on that house, I'll bet the one you get will be a better fit for you. Thanks Jeni I hadn't brought it up till now since its been rather stressful mainly due to my wife We've been in this rental house for going on 6 years and she REALLY doesn't do well with change! If I hadn't pushed her she would just keep renting forever. Problem with her is that she worries and stresses out about EVERYTHING! like where the kids are going to school for instance since we have 2 high schools really close and 1 has a better football team but all the kids friends are gonna be going to the other 1 and where we're gonna put the doggie door and how are furniture will look and and and and and good grief talk about taking the fun out of it but I finally got her settled down and we decided to just look at houses based on our main criteria (garage space, if our furniture fit the layout, pool or room for 1, and close to where we live now) funny thing is we found 2 house at the same time and 1 is in the 1 high school area and 1 in the other

Oh man, do they HATE me at the Waffle House. I love Waffle House music, and whenever I go to one, I pump the jukebox full of quarters and play nothing but the Waffle House songs. Back when they had all-you-can-eat, I'd go in and spend a couple hours getting my money's worth (I can eat breakfast all 3 meals a day if nobody stops me), bopping along to I'm Cookin' and the like all the while.

My real estate lady told me that most people don't think ahead about that, and end up having to buy new furniture. I couldn't afford both, since I wanted to avoid paying mortgage insurance by putting a lot down. Good luck Pietro and Nutz with finding a good investment for your family...

Short of stalking someone with a massive woody collection, I do not see how this can be obtained. Is it as simple as checking "stock updates" section of reos or is there more undergroundish behavior I need to engage in like, "pssst, Smitty, meet me on the corner of 5th & main at 8pm, bring $"

I have been wondering the same thing. I want a matching blue/purple VV grand and I don't think I am going to be able to find one. All I ever see is black and yellow, and those are not my girly colors at all!
