I, too, wish you all a distinctly above average Wednesday. I still have to do my catch-up from all of yesterday. Things are better, but my sister had one of her periodical meltdowns, and a doozy. I'm lucky that I don't deal with a panic disorder as she does, and it's worse for her, but it's no day in the park for us, either. Way too early vent = over. Back to get current in REOville. Can anyone help me out. Trying to figure the calculator on DIY'ing. I have a 120ml bottle of 12mg nic Bobba's Bounty which is 100% VG. I want to bring it up to 18mg nic. Bought 100mg/ml nic in 100% VG. Can anyone tell me how much of the nic base to add? For the life of me I can not figure it out!
Or if it would be easier to calculate I also bought 24mg/ml 100% VG nic. Why can I not figure this out? Just need a confirmation on which to use and exactly how much to bring this up to 18mg.
Mornin REOville! Supposed to be sunny and 54 degrees here today which would be nice, getting a little tired of the dreary days we have had. Plan on asking if there is a vacation week available soon and take some time off, I'm bored, can't find anything good to read, there are a couple of good books coming out, but not for another week or two. Wishing I could run off to Phoenix as often as I would like. I'm missing my kids alot for some reason today and I need to snap out of it!
A funny thing, one of my cats, Star, who is 19 years old, loves a lamp on my desk. The lamp puts out some heat and she likes to sit under it, but she gets in my way when I work. So anytime I leave my desk she gets up on the desk and sits there till I make her get down. She also gets canned cat food, because she isn't able to chew dry food as well as the younger cats. When she is hungry she comes in a meows at me and I go feed her. So lately she comes in and meows, I get up and follow her to the kitchen to get her some canned food, and instead of jumping up on her table, she walks around it and runs into my office and jumps on the desk. I'm being outsmarted by a cat! I guess it was bound to happen.

It's too early for me to do math, but you'll want to use the 100mg for this - if you use the 24mg, you'll have to use 4 times as much liquid to achieve your desired finished strength, and that will dilute the flavor of your Boba's 4 times as much as using the 100mg would.

Cheri, I went to the calculator and tried to figure it out. I came up with something. But once I wrote it I second guessed myself! Math was never my thing!
I am sure someone will stumble into the lounge and give you the correct information. I will be watching for it also. Just to give my brain a work out!
I can't make any promises, it's a busy day for me and I have to cut it short already with a dentist appointment. I will say, though, that handling 100mg nic is a very risky business. My style of DIY is very informal and not terribly accurate, and I wouldn't be comfortable working with so strong a base. Me personally, I get my nic at 48mg and cut it in half immediately, but I also don't use it to doctor finished juices.
Another consideration is the flavor of the nicotine base you want to add may not compliment Boba's. Nicotine bases are not all created equal, even at equal strengths and carrying liquids. To that end, I absolutely do not recommend adjusting the nic level on your entire stash at one time, start with a small bottle and see how the finished product works out before committing the whole batch.
Gotta motor, hopefully someone with stronger math skills will be able to help you puzzle the rest of this out!
Wonderful family we have here. Always the highlight of my morning watching people check in from all over the world, wishing us well and telling us how their day is shaping up. If you close your eyes, you can imagine us all popping in to some little cafe somewhere for coffee and a bite to eat, before starting our day. I find it quite calming.....

If you add 8.75ml's of 100mg Nic base to your 120ml bottle of 12mg Bubbas, you will end up with 128.75ml's of 18mg Bubbas
Per the ejuice me up CalculatorI suggest you download the ejuice me up calc,,,,, there is a tool bar on the top left which allows you to combine Nic strengths to calculate a final MG of Nic
