Good Morning REOVille. Woke before the alarm (rare). Spent several hour Tuesday kneeling/getting up/ Kneeling on concrete to load plywood in WV for a furniture shop in NC. Arther(itis) came to visit with an attitude yesterday, but I can walk normally again this morning so all's well again. Time to coffee up and get back in the saddle again. Have a Safe and Blessed Day Everyone !

P.S. Good Deal on the house Nutz ! hope everything works out for ya !

I have pork pork in the crockpot again tonight. I got some boneless I chunked and am braising it on low for a few hours to get it nice and tender. I will be adding nopales, onions and green chilis to make a chili verde. I have never added nopales before, but I try to sneak in veggies for my brother who eats terribly. It will look like chili and he doesn't have to know

ETA: Note I am using pork pork, not pork tofu!

I'm a beast when it comes to tofu, straight from the container with no seasoning is my favorite. DW likes to fry it but nut me :)

And natto, I'll eat all 3 containers by myself with no rice.....jus' luv it :)

What in doG's name is pork, pork???

Oh and in case you haven't heard of nopales, here is an article:

Nopal cactus (prickly pear) is rich in antioxidants, plus it helps normalize cholesterol and blood glucose

I am sort of making nopales con carne, with chili. Wish me luck!

I tried some raw for the first time today, and it is sweet. DH just loves it at a restaurant we go to, so I told him I would hunt some down.

Yeah heard of Nopal years ago.....juice from cactus plant said to be healthy fer ya. Koreans was selling that stuff almost $100/qt, told DW in America that stuff is cheap.

I'm suspicious of companies that have no track record and reviewers that won't accept comments. REOs are great because of the excellent customer support and helpful forum. Anyone can make a device that sends battery power to an atty connection but dedication to its products and customers is the "holy grail". :)

Had a little surprise today. My Direct Supervisor was here and presented me with the title "Employee of the Month". I got a water bottle filled with all sorts of candy!

It was a nice gesture and I appreciate that someone took notice of my work.

Made me remember all the places I worked and ended up with the same title at some time. The awards came with various gifts or privileges.

Must say I would rather be able to stay at home and not work! I guess these little things do make for a happier day. A much happier day would be a paid day off!
Congrats Karen:wub:you so deserve it darlin:)

oh btw did you notice Nurz sold just about everything he ever used apart from a Reo on his classifieds yesterday? Hell - he had maybe 3 pages of his gear!

He likes them i think!

T
