Well, according to DH both the mystery balls and mushy pork are good things so I guess it is all a matter of perspective

I just like a little texture in my "con carne". I guess I will just have to make taco shells or tostadas where the mush will be masked by some crunch. I usually just serve the tortillas on the side for soft tacos. This is going to be a bit TOO soft, like tofu. In fact, now I think I can blame Nutzipoo for this since HE mentioned pork tofu and implanted the soft mushiness in my subconsciousness. That's it, that's the ticket... I was trying to make it the consistency of pork tofu, therefor it is a success!

You have a brilliant mind Miss Val!:D

hi LISA!!!!...haven't seen YOU in a while!!
:)

Good morning, Ray :)
It is really good to see you too! I trust you are feeling better. I missed the part about you getting ill...but heard about it through the grapevine. Been spending too much work time in front of the computer and not enough leisure time. Just getting ready to head for another long day of driving with an association meeting thrown in the middle for good measure.
I hope you have a great drive with Carol. Tell her I said Hi and that I've been thinking of you two.

Ahhhhh. So THATS why! Way to go on picking a screen name. Here I pictured RedhatPat a dude sitting in his rocking chair on the porch with a corncob pipe in the middle of amish country, and instead I have dudes asking me about penguins, linux hacking, secret society or thinking I'm a woman pretending to be a man... I DONT EVEN DRINK TEA, folks!

This explains SO much.. Ok but I am open to the hug part, I always like hugs. Hugs r cool. Only from women though, except Ray. Ray gets a pass because he'd be hugging me for carol.

Morning sweet RedhatPat! You are such a great addition to the REO forum and lounge. I really appreciate the time you spend here with us.

Sometimes people join and they just seem to "fit in". For me you are welcomed breath of freshness.

Thank you for hanging with the REO family.

((((((hug)))))

just to clarify about nurse ratchet everyone....she asked me one day why i lock my door and said its not like you have anything to steal!!.hence the comment bout her looking to see what i have...

That was an insensitive and uncalled for remark. How about your LIFE? How about your REO!!!!

I took out the chunks that I still had and left the mushy pieces in, added the vegetables (green chili, nopales and onions) and will cook that for a few hours then can add back in the chunks. It was the only thing I could think of to do. It used to be 3.6 pounds of pork, now it is about 1.5 pounds of pork and the rest is pork tofu-like paste. It tastes great though, I added the spices and cooked it in mango juice over night  Not a recipe per se, I just didn't have any orange juice. Mango seems to be a good thing, it is going to be fantastic if you can get over the tofu-texture. I also thought about getting more meat, but it wouldn't have long enough now

The boys are gonna LOVE it. And if they don't, they would be wise to say nothing but good things anyway

Good morning everyone!

Thought for the day:

Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after the other.

What a perfect quote! I have only had two PT sessions, but I did so much work on my own, and progressed so far compared to all the other surgeries. Now that I didn't have any bone in the way, they had me try a 4" stair. Now, you have to understand that I have not gone up stairs without literally pulling myself up using a rail in over 2 years. But after my first PT I bought an aerobic stepper that can go 4", 6" and then 8". I got it Tuesday, and told DH I would have that 4" stair mastered within 3 days.

I parked that sucker in front of the TV as an obstacle for DH to trip over (just kidding) and so I would see it an use it often. This morning I did 18 steps before the muscle shaking started, and pushed for 2 more. I did 20 steps! Now I know 4" may not seem like a big deal, but it really, really is. And yesterday at PT I was able to get my knee all the way around a bike pedal! I pedaled for 10 minutes and that was NEVER obtainable before. And I was strongly cautioned NOT to get on my bike and pedal it around the neighborhood (my PT guy knows I am working hard.)

Anyway, I am pretty darn happy!

This looks like a straight up clone of robs woodvils.

Maybe I am overreacting.

Good morning, Reonuts. Blue skies, temps in the mid-50's and our two-feet of snow has melted off in a day and a half. Supposed to be in the low-70's this weekend and even the pasture is starting to get green. (Could still use a couple more one-foot snows over the next couple of weeks then it can change to spring rains... that'll keep the fire danger down.

For those who have never followed Todd's reviews, he's actually pretty good and covers the gambit of vaping equipment. (I do believe this is the first one of his reviews where the comment section had been disabled, normally he elicits a number of comments and answers each one. (This review may have been posted under his 'blog' category which tend to be shorter than his full blown reviews of a particular piece of equipment... they tend to run 30 to 45 minutes and are very thorough.)

He's actually as entertaining as PBusardo, but more knowledgeable, and with his accent it's probably a lot like talking to Supertrunker in person except that Todd can probably spell VAPE without being spotted the V-A-and P.

Since I tend to be a contrarian, (I know this comes as a complete surprise and is hard to believe), I look at the review as helpful to Rob. It exposes the uninitiated to bottom feeding, something they may never have seen done, or ever heard of. (We all heard about bottom feeding before we bought our first Reos and that initial introduction very well may not have been a Reo but it aroused our curiosity and caused us to do more research.)

A viewer to that video may very well be intrigued by the BF concept but their first reaction may be, "I like the idea but I think I'd want something smaller". What would be their next step? Mr. Google, of course and ultimately websites that manufacture BF's which leads to reading mod owner comments, reviews and forums. Where's the downside of this video... it's free advertising for Rob and I think it's fair to say that the vast, vast majority of Reo owners would enthusiastically agree that Reos certainly hold their own against any other BF. (If you want to be known as the best by necessity you have to be the best, competition is never something to be feared, it's the engine of innovation, quality of design and construction and sets the bar for customer service.)

We all know of the problems Darrel has just trying to get a Reomizer shipped across our northern border, if someone in the states sees the video, gets interested in BF and finds that one of the highest rated, and most popular BF mods is made in Maine by domesticated porcupines and has it's own sub-forum on the worlds largest e-cig forum are they really going to be predisposed to order something from Poland? Wouldn't you start wondering about shipping costs, repair times and over all customer support?

Obviously I might be completely wrong in my opinions, I'm usually wrong about most things, but it seems to me that there's more than one way to take this video.

OUCH, dammit, I fell off my soapbox... I think I hurt myself!
