Alice, I think he said something considered insulting and derogatory and was reported and then possibly banned.

If he were banned, he wouldn't have come in here to post. He probably got an "infraction". You get enough points then they will bannish you for a week or something. I am sure neither happened since he was able to post about it. I think he is just hurt a little, and I surely hope he returns soon.

ETA: His account is still active.

So you're gonna be the only unarmed one there? Looks like I'm comin' home with some extra mods. (Does Smurf like high altitude?)

Jack

And that is the entire point Jack! She IS weaponry! I never carry guns - i'm English! Besides - they make my car look unsightly! lol

I'll make sure i just bring the crap devices! Besides - Nuts has told me to try and thieve a koa Reo - any idea what it looks like? Oh - and i just asked Smurf to cook something you'd all never have had before, so - if you have any requests as to what you'd like us to bring - then now or the weekend is the time to mention them!

and Smurf - whose Dutch!

T

Our Sissy Dog (mostly human) is half Dutch. Her mom was a Dutch Nun until she left the order and married a French Canadian. It's a major hoot when she does Dutch accent. She gets near spitting cola out her nose, cracking up it sends us so into giggles. Kaypers, when you meet DH, Dawg Paw to Sissy, you'll see that he is not the giggly sort at all. Quite shocking to see this intellectual serious, quiet grumpy old man get the giggles. Her best accent is Indian (Asian) especially when she talks about food. Goats are a favorite. Driving through east Texas past goat farms I almost peed mysef a few times. Unfortunately Sissy is working out of LA now. Would love to have her with us in Ardmore.

Gotta get some chores done and eat for first time today.

Love, Feisty Alice

My "children" have been challenging all day. Sure hope DH is p u d d y cat when he gets home tomorrow afternoon.

Kapers, I'll protect you from snakes. At the rate Feisty Rosie Heeler is going, with so many escapes into back yard she's probably keeping the really scary ones at bay. It is fun to sit out ther and watch her bouncing above the vegetation chashing rodents. More National Geographic in my back yard.

Don't know if I reported but several sightings of a puma in woods. I'm hoping it was Jake Mastiff they saw but times don't correlate.

Hugs, Feisty Alice

Smurf is definitely not half-nun! I once went to a bank with her - and because of her accent - which Jack will find impossible (until she says 'mornin' like me) she cracked them all up!

It went along these lines: Hi Smurf - you're from Holland. 'yes'.
I've never been there but the streets always look clean and litter free - 'where?'
Amsterdam say?
'i live 20 miles from there and they are dogs!'

If it's bouncy dog in vegetation I'm pretty certain we can accomodate you. Rosie is best ratter. Puma I don't want to encounter. They have been gone from these parts for near a couple hundred years. I hear reports every decade or so but none have ever been officially verified. About 20 years ago a female lion was reported in a park in Fort Worth. It was a fawn English Mastiff. Plenty of Bobcsts we have. As small as they are they sre quite lethal. DH worked with a woman who had four Dobermans get into a Bobcat enclosure at a rescue operation. Within a fe minutes three Dobermans were dead.

What I'd give to have a few shots of Port to end this day mellow despite so much hanging over me. (Ya'll only hear about the mild stuff) We rarely have hard liquor in house. Thinking seriously about running up to Macaroni Grill where they have half price bottles of wine on Thursday night and regular group of rabble rousers. Smoking and vaping.... lots. Want something more potent than wine but not too hard. But maybe a nice salad with plenty of grape tomatoes will fill the void.
